I saw the odds of FM winning by decision were something like +275. I may take that line versus FM purely to win.

The general thought is McG is going to absorb so much punishment, the fight will be stopped at some point. It's not like you really need a knockout anymore for a fight to be stopped. The refs are pretty quick to stop fights these days.

Heard the general sentiment. I'm not sure if I'm buying into it. Betting odds seem to reflect that sentiment, but at the same time, odds for Mayweather to win is only 4-1. As if the odds maker is confused. Mcgregor would have to be bleeding through his ears for them to stop the fight considering how big this fight is and how many traveled from around the world to see it. The last thing they want is another disappointing mega fight.

Mayweather also said he would be disappointed if he didn't knock Mcgregor out or let it go the distance. He says he'll be coming at Mcgregor. One thing to point out, Mayweather ALWAYS says he'll knock his opponent out EVERY fight. I'm not buying it. I'd be shocked if Mcgregors face was bleeding.

Mayweather also weighed in well under 150. This tells me his game plan is defensive speed and punching speed. He's not bulking up for power. Mcgregor will be around 165-170. I just don't believe Mayweather will be convincing enough in pounding Mcgregor into oblivion. He'll be punching for points and style. It will be 12 rounds of sweet science.

I agree with most of this, but the fight won't be prolonged unnecessarily because of the hype. There's a real pro reffing; he won't risk letting it go on too long if McG (or FM) is taking too much punishment.

I agree that FM is going to to utilize his typical defensive style to grind out a decision. We are heading to the book in just a little bit. If the odds of a decision win are still good, that's what I am betting on.

They are saying "fight is delayed due to overwhelming demand crashing the ppv servers"

    Hahahahahahahhahahahahaha

In other words. Nobody is buying it. Delay delay so maybe we can break even.

It happened in 2015 in Floyd-Manny...with that many paying people, they want to make sure everyone that paid gets to watch. Leave it to Comcast to mess it up for their customers.

Regardless, I haven't watched boxing much since heavyweight died. Manny-Floyd was boring...Floyd's style just isn't fun to watch. It's all fundamentals and no flash...like Tim Duncan. He wins because of that. Also, I can't watch people fight that are shorter and weigh less than me...seems odd. I'm in the 160s and think it's crazy how small those guys look next to their security.

It was trending towards 4.5-5 million buys. That's HUGE.

FWIW, my feed died during the under card twice and came back.

Probably the most perfectly executed fight I've seen in a long time.
FM couldn't have been anymore text book.
    See what he got
    Figure him out
    Ware him down
    Finish him off.

Gotta give CM credit though, A lot of credit.
    Respect for both!
    Great fight.
