This makes more sense as the first Aust customer deliveries i.e. Feb/Mar.

Never know for sure with the lighting, but my bet is it's GT.

You could be right- I looked quickly- and my reaction was- thats Argento N. But it could be GT as well. I wonder if shockw4we could confirm for us. Either way, I think one of these silver colors will suit the shape very well.

I think it's GT as AN is that much brighter and harsher and I doubt will do this complex shape many favours.

Wasn't feelin' the car with bright Ferrari colors. Color combo above looks just about right inside out. Nicely spec'd :)

Very beautiful configuration! Congrats to the owner! I didn't liked the 812 Superfast from the beginning but this car grows on me after some time. Also great photography!

Had been thinking red, but this colour really suits the 812.

Just watched Harris review, baffles me how 90pc of testers of F12 and this say steering is light and lacks feel and 812 it goes unaddressed. I drew so little confidence from my F12 steering.

Mac so much better, does anyone know what the aim is, it must be a philosophy not an oversight to persist with a widely criticised set up. Quick does not need to mean minimal feel.

Don't expect to be inundated with replies. This is Ferrarichat. Heresy isn't welcomed. :p

Re your question, I've often wondered the same about my Speciale and Italia before that, especially right after driving the McLaren.

Most testers of the F12 mentioned that the steering is light and quick and I agree with them but, in the many of tests and reviews of the F12 that I’ve read through the years, very few say that it lacks feel. Personally I like very much the F12 steering feeling because of the speed of reaction and economy of movement which enables to place the car laser-guided where we want. Indeed it takes some getting used to like several other things in the F12.

I’ve never driven a MacLaren therefore I’m not able to make any judgment or comparisons but when you mentioned the steering of the Mac is so much better I just can understand this statement as being your personal opinion based on what you like.

Maybe it is personal, I like fast and an economy of action, but prefer it weightier.

Fair to say it comes up frequently in expert feedback on recent Ferrari's but clearly F are not bothered or have a different philosophy.

Re heresy, I think I am Ok but can see I could do with losing a few pounds, its nice not be brand blind.

I think fast light steering is easier when its a mid engined fundamentally balanced car not a nose heavy front engine GT.

It always buffles me when people mistake steering weight (resistance actually) for feeling.
