Bought a 2007 599 in May and have been feeling it out.Took it up to Ontario,Canada for a Labor Day family reunion.Out around 900 miles over the weekend. What a fantastic Grand Touring car.Smooth highway cruiser and plenty of fun on the back roads.Lots of room a fully useful trunk. The extended family thought it was way cool and I ended up giving 19 individual rides.Used a bit of fuel and at more than 6 bucks a gallon for premium it hurt the wallet, but I could not be more happy with the car.A fully usable supercar.Mike

I had one a while ago, my sentiments exactly, and here, gas is £1-20 ($1.50 per litre, $7 a gallon approx), I'd say it's worth whatever the cost is. The pull of that enzo engine. I recall the first time I saw one, on a visit to the factory at maranello, one blew past me in the hills above, and sounded amazing, and I had to get one. Eventually sold my 612 and bought a 2006 with the handling pack, my god, amazing drive, the car shrunk around you the faster you went, I always felt the 575 was a great V12, but 599 moved the game on so far it was frightening. Mind you, F12, and I suspect 812 now, are probably even bigger steps, but 599 will always have a place in my mind that will never be forgotten!
