This past Saturday I was fortunate enough to be at Blenheim Palace just outside Oxford for the Salon Prive 'Tribute to 70 Years of Ferrari'... I'm sure you've seen the photos of Mark's 250 GT lwb Berlinetta at Salon Prive in his thread here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/vintage-thru-365-gtc4/556864-ferrari-250-tdf-0895gt-rally-london-maranello.html Here are some more...and some others. I was at this event as well, it was very memorable. My photos are embarrassingly bad compared to Paul's. Best memory is as we were leaving, my daughter climbed a tree outside the concours, and we were suddenly treated to the full procession of cars being driven, enthusiastically, by their owners across the grass beneath us around to the final procession. All of them miraculously avoiding bottoming out on the grass dip. Amazing. Some wonderful cars there. And even more amazing: as we left the car park, having parked on a grass bank, I managed to scrape the front air dam of the Vanquish S Volante I was driving at the point it met the Tarmac. Fool.

Does anyone know the name of the guy in the green outfit with the hat on next to the green car? I meet him in the evening and we had a Daytona chat.
He takes care of 0246 AL owned by an L.A. based collector. 0246 AL will also be shown this weekend at the Concorso Ferrari 70 Anni in Fiorano (Sunday 10th September 2017). Marcel Massini
Not the original wheels for this 275 GTS. Car has recently been sold to Sally and Dudley Mason-Styrron, UK. Color is Amaranto and S/N is 06977. Marcel Massini
I think someone yelling "Get off my lawn !!!" out of the palace window would've been pretty funny too.
Winston Churchill , if he was still alive. Without checking , from memory he was born there...his mother had first contractions in one wing of the castle,,,and never made it to the other one where her bedroom was located. Beautiful place though,,,
And should anyone be interested, he is buried just a mile or so away in the village of Bladon. The palace is usually open to the public and worth a trip for those whose interests extend beyond Ferrari! http://www.blenheimpalace.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI8IDirNWc1gIVzLztCh3fyghKEAAYASAAEgJHEPD_BwE
