Any way to permanently disable "mobile view" ??

This is like being suddenly thrust into a new country where you don't know the language. I spent 35 years in my career doing this to others so I guess this is now payback. .

It's a lot easier dealing with what's new when you author it! I don't envy the bug chasing.

And our names no longer appear with our other member information in the posts. you get user ID, but not the user name.

 

Top right of the screen. Scroll all the way up, click on the "inbox" and they'll drop down. They're called "conversations" now.

I'm on my iphone. I hate mobile views. I want to see site like I'm on a PC.

Also, sponsor banner adds are cropped. I guess we all need to submit new formats but need to know size to do so. A detail such as this could not be found during testing?

 

It's going to take a bit to get used to, kinda like the upgrade of 2003. Damn I've been here for along time.

 

Lots of functionality not quite there yet or maybe I just don't see how to do it?

Is there a way to hide all the garbage on the right side that didn't used to be there? It's too many damn ads now and very obnoxious and useless.

 

I like the update. Noticed that many youtube video links are appearing as "[ame]link[/ame]"

 

When you hit REPLY, it auto quotes the post you're replying to.

 

Maybe I'm getting old, but I'm not quite used to the smaller avatars etc. also the quotes are a bit light in color, a bit hard to read..damn..did I just sat that?

On iPad now. Some of issues on iPhone are not on ipad
