This new format is terrrible. The RHS (right hand side) is poorly executed with such a large margin and posts not adjusting for the full width.
where is the Tools bar ??? everything is smaller, not easy to read and to understand, what a mess I have sentences over others, twin reading, narrow window, etc... what about your foreign audience who has not English as motherlanguage ? even if I'm not too difficutlies to undertsand I just have a thought for the others... the previous format was so clear & easy to use I'm sure you will loose many members if you don't improve this, then loose sponsors... so the target may change but is it what you are looking for ?
click your name top right. browsers/tools provide translation tools. try the FerrariChat - Old style that mimics the old. yes, we'll lose some users and sponsors, they can't handle change. our goal is to be a net improvement, some things will be worse, but we hope not many and we add more beneficial things. are we there today? no, but we're moving that direction.
It takes a little getting used to, but I like it. The forum is free and the ads are fine. Since when did all these capitalists who own Ferrari's start bemoaning selling a few ads. Big deal.

Figured out that search works differently than the old format, but it does work (once you log in as a member!).
What a bunch of babies, give the thread a little time and provide feedback to the administrator before pulling the plug. As with all things new, the kinks have to be worked out. I would suggest everybody make their suggestions and have Rob evaluate on what needs/can be fixed.
FYI - On Member End - This transition is oh, so much smoother than the last one. Pictures and Avatars took a solid week. White space, Banners, Ads . . . Just a mess. A host of improvements were made during and for the short- mid - and long-term. And never stopped. At least you guys know this Introductory Beta site format ain't lyin' when it claims to be Virgin. Give her time, and every day will be Steak and BJ Day. Unless you don't like change.
Will this new format work with tapatalk? So far it looks like it doesn't...won't load the messages of subscribed threads...
It's too annoying to read. Visually it's hard on the eyes. The set up , you guys just copied all the other formats out there. (I thought you were never going to do the "like " button, lol. Too bad, you are going to lose the repeat visits of clientele because you are now just the same as every other forum. :-(
I feel like most of the complaints would go down if people switch the style in their preferences to Old Fchat and not New one. Avatars are square, font size and colors are like before, etc, etc...that's what I set mine as. It's a refreshed version of the old Fchat and not something completely different. I like this format and think it's been long overdue. I've been around since 2004 and I was surprised it took this long, but glad it happened.
