Honestly... I am in my 30s and the problem I have with this is the coloring and the lack of definition. I just have a problem with it. Its not defined enough for either my eyes or maybe its my personal taste.

I guess here are my issues:

Borders are not strong or bold.
It seems very tone on tone.
When its not tone on tone... its RED! It sounds ridiculous to say its agressive... but everything is soft toned and im squinteing and then BLAH RED!!!!!!
Overall I wish there was more definition
The text boxes could be more defined
    The Pages more defined
    Just more contrast
Everything is so tone on tone it all seems "soft" or blurred.

Maybe there is a setting I can change? Maybe I just need to not be a baby and buck up? Its all possible LOL

What happened to the tab on the bottom of each thread that allows you to choose a different forum?

I do not like the new format. The contrast is poor, especially quoted text. It is damn difficult to read. New would be fine if you could improve the contrast and increase the font size a tad.

I don't like the new classic format as it is compressed on my iPad which is all I use.

Initial reaction - dislike the low contrast and red nature of the new interface.
Quoted text needs to be way darker or something to make it more clear.
Trying to not be a complainer and give it a chance.
The site logged me out randomly from one page of this thread to the next. Weird.
I won't vote until I know what I really think.
About to try it on my phone, I am a regular tapatalk user.

Not crazy about it. It was obviously done to sell ad space. I haven't found one thing I like better so far. And my subscription is up for renewal in a couple weeks. Hmmm?

Why are the posters' names superimposed on other junk? Btw, love the improvements to attaching images.

Come on, I'm not that old but I can't read half the stuff on the page. Especially on my iPad. The gray is terrible. Multiple banner adds must be a boon for sponsors, etc... really annoying. My eyes! The red... the tiny text.

I understand the need to upgrade but the new software should be an improvement.

As jm2 says, "design: it's important."

I like the new format. It's definitely growing on me.

I prefer the "FerrariChat - Old" view. Making the right sidebar hideable would be a nice touch.

I've been around this board since 2002 when new posts appeared on top with no alternative option. When the software changed a few years later to the vBulletin format, I chose the recent post on top option. In time, I'm sure I'll get used to this new format.

Rob, I'm sure it was a huge effort for you and for those who have helped you make this transition. Thank-you for listening to our concerns and working on eliminating the "bugs."

    1. It's hard to read, too small

    2. Too much NOISE not enough SIGNAL.

    3. Why was this necessary? Feels more commercial and annoying

Circular Avatar window is difficult to utilize when you have mostly rectangular images of cars. Can we at least go square? Also we should have the ability to resize our image on the fly to fit whatever format it ends up being.
Change is always difficult when you are used to something for so long. I'll reserve further judgement until I've used it more.

The old style is MUCH better. But there is still too much wasted space.

#1 Old Software hasn't been supported for 10+ years, take risk everytime server side software and browsers upgrade.

#2 60% of traffic now, even FerrariChat is mobile.

I'm sorry if this was already discussed, but the off topic section is viewable when logged off unlike before. Is it supposed to be like that? I actually liked how only registered members could view it even though traffic there has died down.

You can have a square if you select old Fchat style in your preferences. It looks much better imo.

Other Off Topic or Subscribed? I bet OOT was turned off for guests because that's where bikini thread use to be, but I don't think that has been active there in awhile.

    Old format = stick

    New format = F1

    I still prefer a stick over F1.

OOT is now viewable without being logged in unlike before...I guess since it has died down there and nothing is NSFW it's ok now...
