That'd be a dream come true: Massa in retirement and Kubica back in F1. Win - win all around.

Again, Kubica is a great driver but I simply can't see him better than Massa TODAY.

Robert is going to test a williams, so there is a real possibility he can replace Felipe...

    Nevermind, just found it.

So he has already tested in the Williams sim and he'll be testing on the next "Stroll test days" with the kid. Sounds super promising.

WEll, i thinks it's only fair..but if Robert is near his old form, Di Resta doen't stand a chance.

To be honest i don't think Felipe is motivated anymore, in the beggining of the year he was excited to drive this new cars and he was being very competitive, but than the car turned rubbish and i think that at this point in his carrer he just isn't trying anymore.

I can see that as a possibility. Its not really Williams, its Stroll racing now. A private playground/ toy for the owner.

    Are you kidding?

Kubica has more talent in his injured hand than Massa ever had. This is a no brainer. As for DiResta, Kimi said it best in Hungary "He should stick to reporting".

Kubica gave Sauber the first and only win ever.

Massa was relegated to test driver by Sauber.

For Williams, Kubica brings a lot of press attention, which is good for their sponsors. But I wonder how much a car they can give to Robert. A bad car would be blamed on Robert and kills his come back. However if he took a third/developement driver job with a better team...and on FP1 out shown the regular drivers, that could get him a ride in a car that would give him a real chance to show what he can do. I know his clock is ticking and that he must feel that pressure. But the third driver seat at Force India or Renault or McClaren...or even Toro Rosso (now that the Honda engines seem to be getting better)...or even Haas might be worth his consideration (I think Magnusun and Grosjean have outlived their usefulness at Haas). And a last consideration if nothing in F1 pans out Robert could go to the new FE teams being put together by Porsche and Mercedes. Eventually this will be the face of F1 anyway.

That was long time ago. Kubica was crippled since, and I hope that Williams isn't seriously considering recruiting him. If they do, it will show what level of desperation they have now reached. It's maybe unkind of saying it, but Kubica doesn't belong in F1 anymore.

I'm not a Kubica fan and not sentimental at all (Ferrari should have sacked Massa after his Hungary accident). But the point is that Kubica's test times in Hungary were very good. Over an entire race distance, so it doesn't seem that the one hand is affecting him much and his talent is still there.

I have always been a Kubica fan but his time in F1 is past. I honestly think that the best choice for Williams might be Jolyon Palmer--he brings $$ which Williams are seeking and his recent drives have shown promise. He would have something to prove by at least beating Stroll.

I wonder if Daddy Stroll will allow it, for Palmer or another new driver to gain the total upper hand, now that he can block testing for those the team is considering. Again the team is almost his private endeavor. Williams are not showing well at all.

Massa would be smart to leave. The team is hardly showing any passion. Its all about Lance testing.....useless it is.
