    These are 2005 models.

I sent a text to my son.
He has a Les Paul "Zoot Suit" but may well be interested at this price point.

    Stand by....

I am flying up to pick up a Ducati, so I can pick it up then, if Vince does not buy it.

    Lol.

    God Bless Texas.

Ordered 5 more 20 round FN magazines today, along with the field manual.

I need to order the tritium stick in order to fix the sight.

I had 9 FAL's at one time. I am down to two, and you are buying one of them. This is a nice one !

    Hey Guys -

Just want to make a point to say thecarreaper has been great in working with me on the FAL. I've sent him the cash, but because of the situation in Houston, he's going to hold off on shipping for about a week, until we can sort out the situation here and see if my FFL made it.

Thanks again - I really appreciate it.

Thank you Ken. I have worked hard on Gunbroker for my seller reputation. With no feedback system here I wanted to make sure you are happy the same way I would for a firearm sale there.

Well, I am flying into NC to pick up a Ducati and truck it back, I will take it, and all the ammo you have...

Pick it up on the way home!

Send him a PM though, as he "claimed" it first in the thread here!

The Ruger .45 does not come with any ammo.

I am not able to deal with any firearm sales until after Irma has passed. I work with business jets and am tied up with family evacuating from Florida / Georgia coast. (I just bought a generator and emergency supplies.)

This is a Cat 5 storm and I live in coastal Georgia. I have to leave if it turn too far North.

Many will be evacuating so I would not try to drive anywhere near here if I were you.

    Thanks for the interest.

    Michael.

    Stay safe brother!

    I KNOW the feeling!

My pick up is actually on the coast in NC, so I can take an inland route home from there!
Take care of business and family.

    Michael -

Stay safe. A storm that mean should not be taken lightly.

The FAL is great. I've been talking to a guy in Arizona who is a L1A1 guy. He says the barrel and lower date from Birmingham, 1958. The receiver is a US made part. I'm working on getting some 1958 vintage furniture for it. Already replaced the tritium in the SUIT, so I have the glowing pointer again.

    Thanks again!!!

    Ken

Very welcome. That wood is over $500 and not available any more. Be sure to sell it off or protect it when you take it off. I should be able to sell stuff off again in a few days. Bands from Irma are here.

I only pop on FChat at work briefly as its not blocked, yet. :) Thank you for your patience.

I love me some SKS's. I bought a crate in the 90's, they were $79 each and still in cosmoline. The assault weapons ban that came around a couple years later made the ROI on those a fantastic investment.

Those were the days! Some of these are very early Sino-Soviet, when the Russians were in China using Russian machinery to train the Chinese to build the guns. They have unique serial numbers and build quality is very high with threaded receivers and heavy tennon barrels. Lots of Russian inspection markings, on Chinese guns.
The one with the red stock is a very rare Jungle version with Chinese 20 round magazine and fiberglass stock. Its 90 era marketing hype as the guns and stocks were never military issue. But they were only imported for about 9 months.
One of the blonde stocked rifles is a 1968 Chinese Police rifle that was issued and in service as TET was going on in Vietnam.
The all black one is a 1953 Russian and it was issued with a Mosin-Nagant black cruciform bayonet, like the 1949 SKS had !
I have had it since the 80' and I bought it in the box that way at a gun show.
