Gosh, this new Fchat format is a tad odd, not sure I like it. In the meantime, looks like Pap is on the way South http://www.9news.com.au/national/2017/09/18/16/25/hoons-do-burnout-while-being-towed-on-freeway
Hmmm,I see Tom Tait and some of his councillors are under the spotlight. What's the thoughts of our resident Gold Coasters??
Seems Sukkar is a sucker for punishment. http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/tv/current-affairs/q-and-a-gay-audience-member-shuts-down-mps-argument-against-samesex-marriage/news-story/d495e5434863ec71f91f3785a5e9fcf0
I see there is quite a deal of opposition to the federal education minister's thought of a year 1 test for literacy and numeracy. Here is a test for you . I have just done some shopping at the local IGA where the total of my bill was $18.30.I gave the checkoutperson,an over 14 year old girl in this case,$20.40. What does she do next,(try to keep the answer within the bounds of Fchat rules and regs, please) .
It has long been said (well before Tom turned up) that the Gold Coast council is the best council "money can buy" It didn't get to look like this because of Greenie and socialist backing Tom funds his own campaign so the'll be hard pressed to catch him in this net
I agree re the self funding bit. He told me he wanted to use his own personal car for doing council bizz, the CEO MADE him buy a car out of council coffers. It looks as though, now,he had his way as he drove off in a Rangie with council/mayor emblems,on last nights show. This isn't going to ingratiate him though... http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-09-19/abc-turned-away-gold-coast-council-press-conference-donations/8959508
Here we go again. More tolerance. This woman who fired a worker for having the view that "It's ok to say no" and says she shouldn't be around children posts pictures of herself scantily clad online. Fair dinkum, this country has lost the plot. http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/business/work/its-not-okay-to-be-homophobic-canberra-contractor-sacked-for-vote-no-facebook-post/news-story/4ed027f47b5810e87036450054a8b6dd I wonder if anyone has been sacked for supporting the "yes" position? If I was the ex-worker in the story I'd be speaking to a lawyer, pronto.
Nup. Had to get a store supplied calcutator out of the drawer under the register to work out the change.................and couldn't start the calculator. ..............................................I obliged with the answer of the difficult mathematical equation...
Don't worry, Simon. She may not be able to do basic maths, but she'll be all over various social issues which is the main focus of "education" these days. *shakes head*
That's incredible as most IGA stores have cash registers that after all the items are entered and totalled - the next prompt if a card is not produced is ' amount tendered' and the change is then shown on the screen.
