    Hello,

I am very confused on what to go for, will appreciate your help. I have sold my aventador and now have 3 options

Option 1: Aventador money + my MY2013 Aston Martin Vanquish and go for MY2018 GT4Lusso T. Bianco Avus/ Rosso & black the car is loaded but without the panoramic roof & just driving zone in carbon.

Option 2: With Aventador money I get MY2016 Used F12b with 1500km. Bianco Italia (3 layers white) over full Rosso. Diamond seats, JBL HiFi, driving zone in carbon.

Option 3: wait and keep the money lol

    I currently have a 488 spyder.

    Regards,

You need both. And the 488. Truly. There is no perfect car, but the Lusso does more things, from useful to track weapon, more practical and PLENTY of power. You can add exhaust, you can tweak it, yet the basic car is a miracle of engineering.

The F12 is an elegant race car, less track than TDF or 812, but you need to be paying attention and you have 100 HP more than non track driving allows.

The F12 is more beautiful, a PF masterpiece. The Lusso in white, very nice ... not a bad look, yet not quite the same sex appeal.

For me a FF/Lusso is a necessity, then we need a smaller fun convertible car after that. Some prefer the F12 to the Lusso as they don't need all the practical options.

    Your call.

Imagine each one in your garage. I mean really. Empty the garage of cars and close the door, and sit there, and think about what you want to look at and use. I like a Lusso and a convertible but it's your call. The F12 is a niche. Do you need that niche?

Ferrari is about passion. What does your heart desire. Yet also, what's useful and what's more fun. If there is no joy in either, stay where you are. Yet I would say you can't go wrong.

    Oh **** ... Lusso T? Get the F12.

Thanks for the replay ... you didn't comment that losing a Vanquish is an issue when going for the Lusso as a trade in + the Aventador price!

For me, I don't track cars ... so that's not a plus for me.

I care about looks & practicality.

Looks and Practicality ... so you're not someone who really enjoys DRIVING a car? Then don't get a Ferrari. Or get the T, not the F12.

Ferrari are created for drivers. If you're not passionate about driving, every corner, every on ramp, every moment in the seat, get the versatile and practical Lusso T ... or get a couple of lesser cars so you have more looks and the practicality of more cars.

The bling factor with Ferrari in 2017 is a result of artful design and quality engineering being seen by superficial people as a fancy watch to own and show off.

If you don't already see the better looking car that you MUST have then don't buy a car.

Why the Lusso T? Why not the Lusso V12?

    Lusso T.

In my stricly humble opinion, the T drives BETTER than the Lusso V12. Forget the sound, cannot compare. But driving, it's better. You lose the clunky and digital on-off like 4RM. The DCT is now on par, and perhaps even somewhat better in certain aspects, than PDK - the benchmark of all dual clutch systems. The F12's onboard systems feel antiquated now, reason enough not to get in one. The weight distribution in the T is probably better than F12 + the addition of 4WS.

I was the lucky enough to be the person to borrow my dealer's Lusso T. Not even the salesmen had tested the car. They let me break-in the car over a couple of days.

    F12, nothing like a Ferrari V12.
