458: can't insert cd

I am a new 458 owner. WhenI try to load a cd, the unit does not pull it in.It almost feels as if there is already a cd in the player. When I try to eject the supposed cd, the player says there are no cds inside. Is there a manual eject hole, like i have seen in most cd players. Insert a paperclip and out pops the cd. I don't seem to see a hole in the face of the player?

i did not receive any audio (infotainment) booklet and the online manual does not describe this. I am using the eject in the audio cd menu on the right side tft display. Is this the sw you are talking about?
The menu item shows the player is empty, but i believe there is still a cd in the player.

 

Thanks Melvok, this is the exact menu I am on, I ejected all 6 disk locations and i still cannot insert the disk

 

afwrench, i will try this. I tried a few angles the first time, but now I WILL BE VERY CAREFUL

 

I don't normally use CDs, but since I just bought this car, i want to make sure every single thing works, while I still have 30 days warranty left.

 

mas8002mi, you were correct. Once i hit the load button, I needed to pick 1 of 6 cd slots on the right side TFT. Once I did that. it worked.
