I'm optimistic this 2017 Miami Hurricane team will have a successful season. Experts are predicting a strong 9-2 season. We just need to beat Florida St. in week 3 IN Tallahassee!!!

No problem. It only took Clemson 59 minutes and 59 seconds to beat 'em.

 

Wow. First Gators opening day loss in 27 years. Absolutely pathetic. We haven't had an offense since Tim Tebow.

I watched a lot of the spring practice sessions, Kyle Trask was clearly the best QB on the roster. They set up Franks against the third team all season including in the Orange and Blue game so as soon as they announced him as the starter I knew the Gators were screwed. QB play was terrible and the O line was worse. The DB's and punting were the only consistent parts of the team, again.

I've seen enough. McElwain is clearly out of his league in the SEC. He's a slight upgrade from Muschamp, but not much of one. I think the players are there but between the suspensions and the talent on the bench, it is clear the Gators have a deep cultural problem starting at the top. I never thought the Gators would have a coach who would make me yearn for Ron Zook, but the last 2 coaches have done just that.

Not sure if there is a worse defense in America than Nebraska's.

The HC is a really nice guy, but, he's just not a very good coach, period, no matter
where he has gone he has been totally unimpressive. Nice guy, but not a good HC.
I laughed when they hired him.

 

If you read anything from either of them after that beatdown last Saturday, you know they get it.

This week the score was: Irma 5, Florida Big Schools 0, since UF, FSU, UM, UCF and USF all had to cancel their games. FAU played theirs but they're now stuck in Wisconsin!

I listened to most of the over the top hype of Lamar Jackson from the College Gameday panel and you would have thought he was the epitome of Michael Vick, Cam Newton, Tom Brady, and Michael Jackson. My question for the last two years has been this: Outside of a fine performance against what may have been the worst performance ever by Florida State, who has he ever beaten? Not one single quality team.

When a game was on the line, given a choice between Lamar Jackson and Deshaun Watson, you could count on only Watson to get it done..

Worst home loss since before both of my grandfathers were born, and they were too old to be drafted for WWII

 

Tennessee fans have been unhappy with Butch for a couple of years. After yesterday it is clear that he has lost the team. He's got a pricey buyout but the bigger issue is who are they gonna get? Vol fans want Gruden, Chip Kelly or Bob Stoops. None of those guys are coming. Is Butch that much worse than anybody else they could get? Probably not.
