I got it too, but looks like some contest where you go around and post pics of different Ferrari's to win stuff.

What is interesting is that it conflicts with the Columbus Day Celebrations

Can anyone confirm that something is happening (or open to the public) on 10/5 as noted in post #7?

Yes thanks for posting up the photos. That Barchetta and the 288GTO are personal favorites.

So what would be a good estimate on Michael Schumachers championship/race winning Ferrari F1? Sotheby's says $4 mil+. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes for $10 or more.
No price would surprise me. You get 2 bazillionaires that just gotta have this prize and the sky is the limit. Consider a painting sold for a ridiculous $110 mil. Can't even drive it. ;)
Very interesting it is being sold at contemporary art auction and not automobile auction. Really doesn't matter for this unique item.

nice pics. Were there armed guards lurking nearby?
75th? Every 5 yrs seems ridiculous, but I thought celebrating 70th (and not waiting for 75th) strange. Just can't stop (or slow) marketing machine.

Ferrari has historically marked decades since the 40th.
