I selected for every single (individual) photo "Large" but that still didn't work properly.
And text and pix all get mixed up. No chance to edit. And I am not talking about the time limit.
All very frustrating and NOT motivating at all.

I know what you mean about the text. Often the picture jumps into the middle of the text and sentences are split above and below the picture. Not sure what does that. Some pictures were duplicated as another issue but I have not seen double pictures lately. Perhaps the mod will come along and reset the picture to large for the thumbnail images....
I agree not ideal but the information and photographs you provide are well worth the effort for the many who greatly enjoy them here!!!

I recently learned (from another site with similar "programming??") when adding pictures after or during writing any text, the little (blinking) cursor(?) line on the screen needs to be moved and clicked on (= to be blinking) at the designated spot where uploading pictures are desired to end up (i.e. it needs to on the left side below the text.)
If the "cursor(?) line" is blinking in the middle of the text, that's were the pictures will end up.

Mr. MM, arranging pictures to the end of text after posting can be done (presumably within given 10 minutes?) but pictures need to be deleted and re-posted according to my above suggestions.

I don't know how to explain it in computer lingo, but hope this help.

What I found stops the problem of mixing up text with the photos is to first write your text and then press enter as if to start a new paragraph to make space to miss a line of text and after you have done that upload the pictures.

this is exactly what happens -

first, write your text or part of your text, then "upload a file" -
the picture you upload will always be inserted where ever the blinking cursor is positioned

next, click "enter" - (cursor jumps down to the next line)
now write the next part of your text, click "enter" again (cursor jumps down) -
now click "upload a file" - next pic appears where the cursor blinks

you can do that until the sun sets ...

    no matter what ...
a great thank you to Marcel and Peter for sharing their pictures of a fantastic event -
    wich I could have joined

I have, of course, already done all that. Written the entire text first. Then my name (as I always do), and then gone down several lines south and only thereafter started to add any photos. Nevertheless some pix either came twice (double, the same), and others were inserted somewhere into the text, a total mess and virtually impossible to edit (even 30 secs later and within the (stupid) time limit.
    No chance, doesn't work.
I call this a mess. But I am sure others think different.........

Go into advanced editing. cut the pics' links (they are in between brackets), paste them after the text.

One thing for sure the 10 min editing limit is a pain in the _ss

Thank you very much. So it worked now with chrome or did you have to use a different browser?

Parking lights moved to meet the requirements. Tail light installation also modified for the same reason. I don't particularly like the currect nose as it has clearly been re-designed to meet the aesthetic values of today.

In Chrome. You were right, I had to open the page a couple of times, but now it's perfect. Best.

Aaron Hsu’s 5573GT was still in restoration but drove 4153GT in stead.

Under restoration ?? 5573GT seemed in very good shape at the 250 GTO Tour in 2012 !! Do you know where is the other ex Bardinon's 250GTO #5095GT ?

Can anyone confirm that Aaron Hsu owns both 5573GT and 4153GT? My knowledge still has the latter with the Glaesal heirs AKA Gordinier and the former is said to have been sold so eminently possible but who knows. Anyone?

Ridiculous! Ferrari and the owners publicly celebrate an anniversary with a multi-media PR-tour and now history is immaterial and just acclamations for the event and nice pictures welcome? If you really prefer this, you better start ‘The one and only claquer & acclamation Tread’.

4153GT was driven by Gläsel the first day...but as he had to leave he obviously lent out the GTO to Hsu...

He has a right to criticise, who has a heart to help - Abraham Lincoln

Like so much online, Ferrarichat seems to often be simply a forum for people to criticise without offering anything positive or constructive. September saw the Goodwood thread and now October offers this thread and people seemingly wanting to slate cars and events without offering any constructive suggestions or any positivity and that gets a bit boorish and dull very quickly. IMO, whats wrong with just enjoying some lovely pictures of arguably the most beautiful car ever and on that final note, many thanks to Marcel and Peter Singhof for sharing pictures of the event

Thanks Peter. Loaning someone your $50 million car, as you do. That makes sense although the implication is that Hsu is having #5573GT restored and awaiting completion.

10 years ago I was loaned #3809 and drove it for about 100 miles over the German Autobahn...without any Police guiding me thru traffic!
