Please...don't let this post start an anthem argument. There was turmoil caused by Tomlin's decision to keep everyone off the field during the anthem (one guy as you know refused to stay in). There have been debates about Tomlin's commitment since spring training and Big Ben openly discusses his own lack of confidence. The Steeler fans are unhappy for a bunch of reasons and their unwavering support has eroded this year. The Rooneys are among the most respected and classy owners, and I hear they are concerned. I have two old friends, one who is in the locker room and one who spends every waking minute in Heinz Field neighborhood bars as sources.
And please, Tom, for the Love of God, do not say anything positive about the Eagles. We are conditioned, after a lifetime of pain, to treat all compliments on the team as a "whammy".
