It was yellow when owned by Kroymans and before that. Who painted it Avorio?

#41 is a Maserati T61 Birdcage, chassis #2451 (fitted with its long-tail body from Le Mans). The T61 all had front engines...

Cool poster! I have that watch in my collection, among many others. The same model with the golden dial has Nasa history. it was taken to space as a private watch of astronaut Col.Pogue. Officially he had to wear the Omega Speedmaster "Moonwatch".

These cost £70 in the UK in 1974. I think the Speedmaster was about £110. Do Seiko in Japan service these now?

I think there is no need for service in Japan. Every watchmaker can do it. Today These watches trade between 300,-- und 600,-- Euros depending on condition and originality. An early Speedmaster is about ten times the price.
Same thing like vintage Ferrari. Telling old stories and selling history makes the difference.

Service of the vintage Omega watches used to be so terrible that I sold my Speedmaster collection. When my Speedmaster 9300 is due a service I'll probably sell it. I sent in a new Seamaster for regulation recently and it came back with a scratched caseback so it doesn't look like things have improved.

I've been wondering same. Perhaps the poster has acquired the copyright to all of them ?

I also wonder why some post pictures of drawings on a "More Old Photos" thread ?
I admit these drawings are very nice and might be interpretations of actual photos, but...

OTOH, it is the internet, so I guess anything goes...
