My hope is that ferrari reset themselves, and both drivers have a trouble free weekend this time around. Only the most oblivious tifosi imagines the titles are not off to Mercedes again after the travesties of the past month, but it would be nice if we could go on and win three of four at the end of the year, test a few bits for next year, Kimi get a few podiums behind his team leader, and take some positive news into the winter development phase We should remember, in 2015 Nico won the last few races after losing that title, and came out and smashed it in 2016. We need to channel that belief into our team Forza ferrari
https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/132448/mercedes-goes-aggressive-with-mexico-tyres Mercedes has opted for a more aggressive approach than its main Formula 1 rivals with its tyre selection for upcoming Mexican Grand Prix. The champion squad has chosen nine sets of the softest tyre compound - the ultra-soft - for next weekend's event at Mexico City, which will host the 18th round of the championship after this week's United States GP. In contrast to Mercedes, Red Bull has opted to take just six set of ultra-softs. Ferrari will have seven sets at its disposal. Championship leader Lewis Hamilton will have three sets of super-softs available to him, while rival Sebastian Vettel will have five sets of the red-marked rubber. Both men have opted for just one set of softs.
If Hartley does well this weekend - http://www.planetf1.com/news/kvyat-facing-second-toro-rosso-axe-report/
Well I look at it like this. Hartley was brought in because he has had recent experience at the COTA and in fact he(and his team) won the COTA in WEC this year. So its a no brainer. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he beat Kyvatt. It also wouldn't surprise me one bit if he replaced Kyvatt next year since Hartley is losing his ride with Porsche in the LMP1 category and he can't be any worse then Kyvatt.

I prefer dry races, as the Cars are performing to their maximum. Thank goodness that the forecast of 80% rain on Sunday will be over by lunch time.

"I do not understand the political games of formula one very well," Boris Shulmeystera, a Russian motor racing promoter, told Championat. "But judging from what is known, I do worry about Daniil," he said. "It is a pity that such a talented driver is first transferred from the senior to the junior team, and from then on his quest for survival began."
Coming from a Russian this is of course what you'd expect. But then it is strange that they hold on to Kvyat despite not worrying to humiliate him over and over again.

My prediction... Max will win. He'll go virtually unchallenged because no one wants to risk being taken out by him. Lewis has no reason to go wheel to wheel and if it comes to it, he'll let him go by like he did before. I'm certain something will go wrong for Ferrari. It almost seems inevitable at this point. They're just on this trajectory that they can't change. Maybe i'm all doom and gloom because I can't get excited anymore knowing Lewis will be WDC at this point. Each of the last 3 races I was so excited just to watch it all fall apart in the first lap. I hate that kind of let down.
I live in Austin. I'm not going. I'm sick of the Hamilton-led parade. I've never missed F1 here but I'm taking a break. I'll watch it on TV and keep my fingers crossed for the good guys in red! Greg.. Sent from my LG-H700 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Because the track and tires will match the team livery, it is like the collar matching the cuffs. It's all in how you accessorize dahling.
Sure thing. My second line was with regards to RBR/STR rather than any denialist. They play ping pong with Kvyat's nerves.
