I've been unable to find this information here on Ferrari Chat so if it is, thank you for directing me to the proper post. But, I am seeking information on the numbers of 599 built in the various years of production and how they were distributed to the various markets - US, Europe, Asia, Middle East. Thanks for sharing this information.

Dream on: thats because its not in the public domain just like most other Ferrari production numbers

Best guess is between 3000-5000 total

Thanks - that's a total of 2691. Is there a break down by market?

In Europe sales figures for individual models on websites vary from Country to Country, with some sites free and others pay sites.

You would need to join every site to unravel the exact sales per country.

Ironically the USA has no known site that breaks down individual Ferrari model sales.

    So 2691 in Europe.
Supposedly USA gets about 30% of production so @1000 more here.
    But say another 1000 row.

    Thats about 5K.

Actually more than I had thought.

Michael Sheehan says about 3600 total with about 1100 coming to the US.

Those are the first real production numbers I have heard. Nice to see and still a small number considering.

Well that is disappointing. Especially if that opinion is from you. I will admit as an owner (but one who acquired it for pure enjoyment) that it sounded too good to be true. Do you think 5000 is more realistic?

I think 4000-5000 is more realistic, but have nothing official to back that up. There were over 5000 Maranellos sold (550 and 575M), and the 599 was a better seller, even if over a shorter period of time (2006-2011 vs 1996-2005).

Does anyone know from all those 599s how many real factory HGTEs were made? I believe they were produced from 2010+

They were built mid 2010 to mid 2011. UK forums suggest only 200 factory HGTE's were produced.

Car and Driver tested an HGTE for the August 2009 issue. So the car was probably in the US in June 2009.

So USA got them before the UK then. Not the first time that has happened!

First built in calendar year 2009, but are these MY 2010's? I've personally only seen factory HGTE cars in MY 2010 and 2011,but perhaps there are a handful of MY 2009 around?? Have also heard the 300-350 production figure, but I don't think anyone knows the exact number. Regardless, it's very few and for $20K its probably the best priced Ferrari option of all time given everything included in the package. Interior upgrades with lots of CF and alcantara, suspension and wheel upgrades, exhaust tips, and faster shifting trans seem well priced for the money. Surprise more people did not opt for this package, but that was also during the depth of the financial crisis so perhaps people didn't load up the cars. Hard to explain why more didn't go for this option.

I do not totally agree with you. Europe without Middle East represents 40% of the market ( and North America 33 %)
Therefore production will be more or less 6700 units

    Sorry, cannot be
Let’s say 1100 in US + 2691 in Europe = 3800 Already more than 3600. What about the rest of the world which represents 27% of Ferrari sales !
