That certainly would explain the 6 consecutive Constructors Championships won by Ferrari 1999-2004. BTW Mercedes AMG Petronas is based in Brackley, United Kingdom.

Clearly germans are #1 in europe for a reason; their economy and cars are better for a reason.
I own and love my ferrari but when it comes to hard work, consistency, fixing issues...the germans are yet to be beaten...
Fact is ferrai has not won in close to 14years fact. I hope they do but they have the biggest budget and so far nothing.

You must be kidding...YOU do not get it and yet you try to turn it around...
As the question is who is slow once again only for you in chronological order

1.) There is a thread that says that "Hamilton sucks"
2.) After winning in Austin there is post #961 of Subirg where he says how Hamilton whiped the floor with all the others, not mentioning the superior Mercedes with a single word
3.) In post #964 I say that these followers do ignore the fact that Mercedes is the best car
4.) In post #965 Subirg complains about me being unfair and paddling back about the car
5.) Now comes post #966 that you quoted. I point out that his own post (upon whom he obviously felt addressed) did not contain anything about Mercedes

So you see: in 964 I complain about the lack of proportion in the posts above and this includes 961. At 964 it was unfortunately not possible to know upfront what he will write in 965 as at least in my universe the timeline sees 964 before 965...This is what I say in 966 adding about the team mate argument in 965 as well...

So once again: before you insult others you should try to get things straight

Anyhoo, lets all remember that this is the Elton sucks thread, so any posts that say he doesn’t shouldn’t be here really, we love to dislike him and run him down! I started an appreciation thread for him a while ago so his super fans here would have somewhere to discuss their omnipotent one and opine about his latest fashion statements and how much of a legend in his own mind he is, and barely anyone bothered to admit they liked him and it died a death.

He obviously does not suck as a driver but he is far from being that good as he and Group44 want to make us believe...He sucks about as much (or little) as Vettel, Alonso, Verstappen and most likely Ricciardo...

 

In all these 41 pages, has anyone posited that Hamilton isn't liked by some only because those people don't want/envy his lifestyle choices? That's how I feel...having followed F1 heroes for a long time, part of the attraction was getting some vicarious pleasure from the current hero's exploits.....Stewart's class, and safety activism; Hunt the Party Boy, pick yours.
I don't envy Lewis for wearing jeans I'd get yelled at for wearing on a trip to the hardware store, the rapper (wannabe?)thugs he hangs out with ......it's kind of like the nice car that gets keyed at WalMart; for those who must shop there, their hope is to do well enough so they don't have to. Seeing the seemingly successful continue to shop at WalMart makes a person wonder what is different about 'succeeding? Ruins a dream.....

I don't even consider lifestyle as to whether I'd want it or not, I just measure the guy by what he says, how he says it, how he exacts to things, the way he interacts with those around him, and I find him a pompous, arrogant, unintelligent fool, despite being a fast driver.

His fans annoy me because they seem to think that unless you fawn over elton, you don't know what you are talking about, and somehow the fool is the best ever, which he may be to the, but to the majority, and anyone who understands even the basics of F1, clearly he is a long way from.

They ignore the period where he wasn't in the best car on the grid and subsequently was an also ran to those champions each year, yet seem to think the only measure they need is four years in the most dominant car in history (and fail to acknowledge that if he was that good, he would've won all four championships, not been beaten by Nico last year), we are fed that if he loses, it's Mercedes fault, or only because he had a problem with the car itself, yet others aren't given the same latitude.

Moreover, as it's a ferrari-centric board, it is blindingly obvious to anyone that the majority are likely ferrari fans, whether rabid tifosi or passing interest, so elton fans then get a reception they don't like when they bang on. While we all accept everyone's opinion and respect it, the repeated aggressive tones do get some of us riled up. It's a shame, but there's a reason for it
