Olivier, I like grey on v12's but you are starting to sound a bit weird !! Look forward to seeing a v12 with DCMETRO grigio paint at some point in the future.
Pilota Ferrari and visiting Maranello as well as the factory is always fun - I cannot get enough of that and I am already looking forward to next time.
That's probably the same blue car with black wheels and red calipers already posted here, but because of the lightening and/or photo editing, it seems to have a nice violet hint, making it look like a BMW Individual color called "Velvet Blue"
That's TDF blue it has a violet tint at times depending on lighting. Definitely one of my favorite Ferrari colors. Sent from my HTC U11 using Tapatalk
Olivier congratulations for this great picture. Beautiful grey, lovely reflections and despite of my feelings about the rear I have to admit that from that angle and in that color this 812 looks very good.
In the vid I posted there are some shots of that cars interior, Black with red stitching (special), standard metal vents trim, carbon wheel with LEDs and carbon upper tunnel and bridge. The interior looks nice without the accent stripes on the upper and lower dash (This is similar to my own spec.)
Ahahahah I love your grey extremism, you're worse than me , everything that isn't grey is off topic ! yeah ! Thanks Mario, exactly like you that pic achieved to sold me the 812 design. Grey is the potion for any design Not yet, but if I find one I'll post it immediately !
DC - a question for you, do you think we are seduced by marketing and rarity on fancy colours. For example I fancy Grigio Coburn for my 812, however hand on heart if GS was GC and prices reversed I may opt for GS, GC is lovely but is it $25k lovely ? Can you see the 3 layer ? I can only see it in bright light. Ferro and CDF, both lovely, much lower cost and quicker. If they were standard no cost colours would they be less aspirational ? If GS or GT were historical, would they more loved, you get the picture. GS is currently unfashionable UK, whereas 599 and 430 was everywhere. Question, putting rarity, resale value and cost totally aside what would you choose? If having painted shield (I am) is it a false economy to then “save” on paint, or does it make sense as the car will be upgraded by the shields ?
IMHO triple layer makes a real difference (the color seems to be "deeper", whatever it means), but historical is not worth it. Grigio Silverstone is the best grey for me , with Ferro coming close.
