Panel fit issues? Not seeing it, and those are quite large photos. Silver is notorious for gathering and reflecting light differently. The front shot shows even color ballance. The clear bra line is unfortunate and the holes in the front bumper are plain silly.... still looks like a fun driver if it gets a clean PPI.

Guess what, we just increased the Ebay watchers of this car simply by posting it here. Sneaky sneaky, some folks here are probably saying, oh not cool, oh ugly but at same time trying to check their bank account or finance company if their good to go to purchase the car. It's a typical buyer's tactic to keep other interested parties away from the car. ;)

In any case, no matter how bad the story this car has as long as it doesn't have a Frame, flood or fire damage report at 69k that's still a good deal for gated with new clutch and 40k miles only.

Somebody will snag that at that price for sure, but not at the previous asking of 85k. Now that was a stretch. o_O

There's even a "Best Offer" option, meaning they are willing to go lower than $69,000.

This will be a great deal for somebody for sure, as long as the "stories" are minimal.

From the dealer description: "This is a 2003 Ferrari 360 with a gated 6 speed manual transmission. Car has 41,000 miles , new clutch at 39000 miles. Car comes with all original books and original bill of sale.. Car has service history and a clean carfax. For more details call 631-283-8819."

It has a scratch on the front clip, the bubble on the airbag, and the holes in the front bumper, but otherwise it looks pretty good for the money.

The real bad news for manual owners would be if Ferrari revived the Dino and offered a stick. lol

A mid engine, 40 valve, aluminum V8 will always have a place at the table of desire. Dino would be cool but wouldn't be a V8 or NA. Chevy is making a mid engine Corvette right now that, if done right, could be an interesting deviation.

The Dino would be a V6 - they already have the 2.9 available - and Dino 296 sounds cool as hell. I don't care if it's a turbo, if it has a stick, I'll sell one of my V8's to get one.

I'm glad to have found this thread. I've been a lurker for almost a year as I've been on the hunt for a 360 while I've been selling my Dodge Viper. Well... my Viper is gone and the time to buy is now. I've inquired about this car and I am awaiting a car fax on it.

Ya, he drives like a jackass.

I think the poster meant, the vid shows the f1 kicking ass, which is bad for manual fans?

agreed. NEVER would I do what he did. Stupid. A blind curve is just that, blind.

But yes after driving both the F1 and the stick 360. I'll take the F1. And this is from a guy that drove sticks all his life (even on the track for DEs). The romance of the stick in a 360 is just not for me. I truly believe most fall in love with the idea of a stick but not the reality of rowing through the gears. The F1 is incredibly satisfying.

3-Pedal is 3-Pedal. It will always be the same experience. Which for my 360 today reminded me how sweet it is. :)

F1 is a half step to PDK which is better in every single way. As the 458 continues to drop in value, F1 proponents will move to PDK. It's just that much better.

I'm not a race car driver. I don't fully care that my car might be a tenth or 2 slower because it's a stick. I care that my value will be higher, my car will be rarer, my clutch will last longer, I can work on it myself more, I will have more fun with it, and that little metal clicking sound when shifting gears gives me car-wood.

Yep. My 911 is PDK, happened due to laziness of not waiting for a blue stick. That mistake cost me $115k because I had to buy a blue gated 360 to make up for it.

First off, the guy driving in that video is a complete ****** nozzle.

With that out of the way, yes, a PDK dual clutch is better in every way than an F1. Except one: the pure violence of the shift. An upgraded TCU gives a pure punch in the face when driven in anger. Watch ANY video comparing the Stradale to a Speciale and the Stadale blows it away every time. Does it have more power? Is it better in any way? .....no. It's simply violent and unrefined. Stick shifts are great, we all love them, but an upgraded F1 on a winding road with a Capristo is laugh out loud fun. Watch this video and the reaction of the guy driving the Stradale (6:30 mark) and ask yourself if the dual clutch is better.

I don't doubt that paddle shift is quicker than a stick, but if that's the only criteria, automatic mode in the current generation of transmissions is the fastest. I can't remember where I read it, and I can't find it with Google, but I read an interesting take from a test driver - Porsche? - who said he doesn't use the paddles anymore because the computer shifts better than he does. That's the future! lol

What's missing in the toolkit for the F1 cars is a spare brake light switch. :)
