Fastest f1 driver in the world is on the whole, Michael Schumacher, still holds many of the track records in the old style cars despite the claims that cars are faster now. Till elton beats all of those records at every track, I'd say Michael has to be the fastest f1 driver still
Lol only people that lack any perspective on history compare eras. Hamilton has driven the better cars over the course of a career than any driver in F1 history, including a 3 year run in the most dominant cars in F1 history 14-16. His cars have been SO good, then even his teammate, the number 2 driver, has managed to win a race each year in all the cars LH has driven, with only one exception (Kovalainen in 2009). He is a great driver but his stats have been flattered by driving the best car on the grid by miles and having a WDC capable car every year of his career but two. He's not even the best driver on the grid, not even in the top 3, which is funny to think about when you have all the fanboys jocking him these days
I thought this was obvious for everybody who can read...I did not think that I specifically have to point it out just for you Lesson learnt....
Exactly... he is trying to be who is not...he is just fake, he is a privileged mixed race kid who made it and is very talented acting like he made it from rags to riches, thug wannabe who tatoos himself for street cred... That being said he is GOOD & i wish i was in his shoes f1 racing! I dont like his fakeness. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Funny I said the exact same thing about Michael Schumacher (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004) and Sebastian Vettel (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013) when they had a car that couldn't be touched. I've watched 12 years of F1 where I knew who would win before they started the race 95% of the time.
Exactly... guys like to pretend that Ma's car was no better than the Arrows or Vettle's car wad no better than the HRT and they didn't number 1 driver status with subservient number 2 drivers. A major difference between Hamilton and them is that he always had to race and beat his team mates. It didn't play out two years for him but there are reasons other than pace during those.
Exactly...let´s not forget he defeated the race titan Kovalainen to his first WDC...I think neither Schumacher nore Vettel would have been able to do so And the Finn this year certainly was no number 2 driver when he was used to block Vettel...yeah right. So two out of his 4 titles are won with a clear No.2 but keep bringing on that fairy tale...what a joke!!! Edit: when you try to bash Seb I think it would help your credibility if you were at least able to write his name correctly...
Spell check unfortunately didn't do its job here ho hum Exactly! See what I mean! These guys are delusional! Before Kovi was decimated by Hamilton they all swore Kovi was going to wipe the floor with him lol! Weren't they saying similar things about Bottas at the beginning of the season. Eddie was a number 2 and so was Webber... Hamilton has never had this and even more so he's never asked for it. You will never see Max at Ferrari as long as Vettel's there. After being decimated by the smiling Australian he'll never risk having an equal driver in the second seat. Why else do you think Kimi got resigned?
Complete BS... he didn’t come from the slums, his dad was an IT manager and then had his own firm. He didn’t grow up poor whatsoever poor kids do not do go karting; do u know how much it cost?! U are going to say but his dad took 3 liens on his house...ok but he had a Home to do this...not poor...of course by f1 standard he probably was and that doesnt take anything away from his talents! You must've read this (i.e. the Early Life section in the middle of the second paragraph): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lewis_Hamilton#Personal_life I didn't posit he came from the slums nor spent his youth in abject poverty on government assistance in an ultra-poor household. All I stated is he did not come from a privileged background (i.e. you're the one who claimed he's a "privileged mixed race kid."). He was certainly no Max Chilton, Nelson Piquet, Jr, Nico Rosberg, Carlos Sainz, Jr. et al).
I read this already; listen i grew up with 2 middle class parents; absolutely gem of parents who made 2000€ each a month, i am pretty sure its not as much as his dad made; yet i was far from poor and lived comfortably so quite clearly the kid was not poor. This is like golf this is not for poor people this sport ( again doesnt take away his talents and he deserves credit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Absolutely-u do not do go karting at a high level and that frequency if your parents dont have money. Period. As i said maybe he was poor in his circles but he wasn’t in the real world. You are privileged to do these kinda sports. Take running, anyone can run right or close, its free too and it’s almost certain that ussain bolt is the fastest human being alive. Take racing now, car racing, can all of us who know to drive do it? Yes for the most part yet as you likely know a go kart race, just one costs over $500 bucks or whatever your currency is; plus you need insurance, mechanics etc This sports has major cost from the get go that a regular kid can certainly not afford... that by default prevents a lot of people of accessing this sport. A friend of mine in his 60’s owns a f1 from Michael schumacher and races historically before a few races in the F1 calendar; that cost above 40k per weekend just to have fun... Again i am not sayin hamilton is not a good driver ... All I’m saying is that he was privileged to Be able to enter this sport and i personally dont like his character acting as a rapper thug wannabe... Its kinda deion sanders’ kid (football player) whom the other day tweeted something about being about that “trap life” or something like this yet his dad put him on blast and tweeted something like yeah and you have a trust fund account with 1million already... Personal opinion of course but i find hamilton fake but none of this will change my life and he certainly deserves all of his blessings and success... i am just not buying the middle class label thing. The kid was privileged and talented of course. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
His dad worked 2 or 3 jobs to pay for Lewis's racing while they lived in a one bedroom flat and they were out of money when Ron came in with McLaren to sponsor him. Otherwise we would have never had the privilege of watching the fastest man behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car Lewis the Hammer Hamilton... Thank God he did.
Totally besides the point. I think there is an issue with the poverty concept here... You should google how certain US stars like dennis rodman was homeless before playing basketball or how oprah grew up. My parents had loans and i grew up in a 2bedroom apartment....booo poor me i was so poor... His dad made some choices to help his son’s career and talent and i command him for that that’s great and again Hamilton has talent and deserves his blessings: the world his big enough for all of us to be happy BUT please if you have any and i mean any knowledge of the motorsports world you will know that he was not poor or brought up poor to be able to even do go karting one year of his life... Believing this is almost like believing Harvey Weinstein’s tendencies were not known by anyone... Wrong. I mentiom basketball often and for good reasons: i almost played pro ball myself and grew up with Tony Parker; now let me give you an anecdote: tony often in his interviews said he grew up poor and i guess given how wealthy he is now that could be true...but that also contribute to an “image “: tony’s dad was a pro player in France; his mum was a model; hardly poor right? Again believe what you want and we can disagree but in my opinion our dear Lewis didn’t grow poor, was privileged and again has a lot of talent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah right, let´s blame spell check when you get drivers names wrong... You must be trolling, there is no other explanation...Who are "they" who thought Heikki was intended to "wipe the floor with Lewis"??? After the disaster the year before Kovalainen was intended as nothing else than a support driver... So how exactly was Webber number 2 driver in 2010??? Maybe you should look back before you repeat the drivel that is common in Lewis-fanboy circles... How do you know what Lewis asked for when they talked after last season and they signed Bottas??? This is again a total unproven fairy tale by group44...early in the season he already asked for favours from Valtteri and the fact he questioned whether it was good to "give back the place" already shows that he considered Bottas as No.2 driver...later Bottas was repeatingly used as a skid for Seb so I do not see how you can say that he is no No.2...Which is completely OK by the way but then you guys should not behave like it is not the case! And believe me: Max will not drive for Mercedes either as long as Lewis is there...if you really think Lewis would look forward to see Max in the same car you are a dreamer! At least you prove that "fan" is coming from "fanatic"...and you guys dare to insinuate others of wearing blinders...
For this "poverty" story: I do not get why this argument is repeatingly used to enhance his achievements over others? As far as I understood there was never anything missing that was needed to succeed, first brought in by his dad and then by uncle Ron. So if his father worked 3 jobs to sponsor his son this does not enhance Lewis´ achievements as a driver but more the achievements of Hamilton Sr. as a dad....
Show me where elton hasn't had a bias in his favour from the team at both mclaren and Mercedes. The only teammate he gave a hiding was heikki, alonso beat him till the team started beating Alonso, for which Ron had a pretty good reason that you don't know and I do, and jenson and Nico ran him hard and beat him almost as much as he beat them, his titles came through favouritism, not outright skill. Michael fought for his status, and every person that raced him was slaughtered by him through skill and hard work, he earned number one status, and even when he was playing second fiddle to Irvine when back from his broken leg, he smashed every lap and beat the lot of em, partially crocked still. The only driver Michael ever thought was at his level was Mika, and he wasn't strong enough to beat Michael consistently if they had equal cars. Michael, however, had drives in the Jordan, which was ****, the Bennetton, which was also ****, yet he managed to make it better and win two championships in it against the actual class of the field, the Williams, that in anyone's hands SHOULD have one those championships if Michael hadn't been there. The ferrari required a lot of work to get up to speed, so from 1996 to 1998 he was driving a car with a disadvantage to the class of the field, yet again, he still won races and almost won championships. In 1999, he would have won but for the accident at Silverstone, and almost saw Irvine take the title for ferrari that he should have won. In 2006 I was there when he was forced to announce his retirement at Silverstone, Ross brawns eyes told me what he thought of that BS, they were glazed with tears the entire day, and he wasn't the jovial chap he usually was, it was obvious something was amiss. Let's go to vettel, ermmmmm, beat elton in the TORO ROSSO, that's right, the car that couldn't race its way out of a paper bag, yet vettel comes from nowhere and beats your 'king of the rain' in a ******** banger racer......... yeah, none of the other drivers us tifosi like are any good at all, none measure up to elton.... WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH. I know you only post to try to get reactions, but at least try to do it with facts, not fiction
lewis crapilton is as fast or probably less fast than at least 5 or 6 drivers in the field. As for being poor, there was a guy ("the fastest driver the world ever saw"..and it's not me making the sentence, it was a former f.1 world champion) who didn't have a house, that rented a trailer to live with his family, that raced snowmobilies to earn enough money to sustain his family, than later when he got the house, he had to sell it to buy a car to race? this guy lived in an rc, and drove it to each race with a trailer that carried his race car. In the winter the water would freeze on the pipes of the rc, and his wife used a blowtorch to unfroze the water! This race was race, mechanic, everything and fought well founded teams with very good drivers, but his car was still a piece of crap. Once he had a big crash and broke his leg...after a few days he removed the cast himself and drove at the next race! One day there was a torrential rain (i can show footage of that if anyone wants) and he wiped the floor with everyone else...so he got some sponsorship, and next year, with a decent team he won every single race (except one whne the engine broke)..next year, some of the best f.1 guys came to rece in this series, amongst them the current f.1 e.champion and aniother one to be...the champion got to be in the same team as our guy, who had to use a bent chassis because the "f.1 star" was given the best one. Still hemanged to wipe the floor with all of them, and the f.1 champion was so amazed he recomended his f.1 team to hire him...from then on, f.1 would never be the same again. Just a litle bit of history, not that you or any crapilton fan would be interested because you only watch f.1 since 2007, therefore, ignore there was f.1 before that date.
