Image Unavailable, Please Login My recently purchased 2014 spider had the dash problem. I tried to solve the issue permanently by having the dash wrapped in matte CF. Also had the original redone by a leather shop used by my dealer just to have it.

Which part of the dash board? In most cases, you can remove the panel, heat the leather up and re-attach it. I had to do that on my 355 as I recall.

I'm surprised to hear of this on a 458. The way they glue the leather down (where it tucks around) is usually pretty secure. I've removed the leather from the binnacle cover on a 458 and it wasn't an easy job getting everything off as I recall :)

I looked at a 458 at FoD and it had severe shrinkage of that part of the dash. The car must have been out in some serious heat and sun for that to happen. Any natural hide will shrink if not treated and kept out of the sun. Go buy a windshield shade from Amazon ASAP and always use it.
