It definitely is blu tdf - it is the demo car of Francorchamps Motors in Brussels and I have seen the car in flesh.
The demo 812 in London is also blu TdF. I wonder if dealers had a choice for their demo 812 spec? Did Ferrari just choose the options on their launch demo cars and that is what the dealers ended up with.
The color looks like its been Photoshopped a little bit so I can understand the confusion. It does look good, but on an over cast type day, TDF doesn't flare as much as it appears in some of the pics.
I see topaz detailing had 2 demo 812's parked side by not sure what they were getting done but both car were identical. Tdf with black wheels, one was HR Owen car and other was dick Lovett car I believe. https://twitter.com/Topazdetailing/status/923575422067052547
I believe this 166 at the Ferrari Museum in Modena is Blu Swaters - or so I was told - maybe Marcel could confirm? Image Unavailable, Please Login
TDF is the best color on many Ferraris. I love it on my 612. My new FF is white (crap I need to take note of the specific color name). Awesome on an FF but nothing like TDF on the 612.
I like the TDF but I don't like the black wheels. I think a lighter contrasting color would look sharper. The dark exterior of the TDF Blue and the black wheels cause the wheels to just go away IMO. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Absolutely NOT. BTW the color Blu Swaters didn't even exist back in the early 1950's. It was introduced in the 1990's only. Marcel Massini
I must say I never like black wheels but the clash of them with a darker shade like TdF is especially cruel. TdF is great for silver wheels and calipers, or black calipers at most.
Saw it today at hr Owen london. Trust me you wouldn’t be disappointed with the 812 in tdf with black wheels!
