Yesterday I had the opportunity to see the Urus production line as well as many examples in process... I cannot share specific details until Monday December 4th, but there is no other SUV on the market that compares.

There are features that I did not expect, as well a standard options... if you put in a pre-order with your dealer, I think you made a great decision! The URUS is going to sell very well.

Q7 based. no V10/V12. it's going to have to be a walk off grand slam to not be a missed opportunity IMO.

Sporty? Not so much. That one began life as a potential military purposed vehicle. I can only imagine if any army actually had ordered some for that purpose. It's something you would wish upon your worst enemy for that purpose.

Cool as hell toy though. :)
I'm sure this will be a far more useful vehicle just damned expensive.

Not very. BTW, all the music on these is obnoxious. I know, not aimed at me ... but anyway it is. I'll wait for Harry's review.

I was hoping for the same V10 as the Hurcan...

But what is under the hood makes plenty of power!

    agreed.

the success of vehicles like the Raptor, Wrangler Rubicon, and G550 Squared has shown a market for premium priced, focused off-road vehicles. The opportunity is there, IMO, for a true LM002 successor.

another Cayenne/Q7/Bentayga variant just doesn't excite me.

Agree 100%. Mercedes has shown this with all the very expensive gwagons they are selling. Lamborghini has the "pedigree" with their last truck..why not make it an italian cross between a raptor and a gwagon!

I just picked up an 18 Raptor. Love it. Was skeptical on the V6 TT. Had a Callaway SC540 prior. Not skeptical anymore!

There has been one on display at the Lambo museum in Italy for at least a year, if not longer.

Hey! I don't know if you driven some LMs lately, but they can corner pretty good! :D The acceleration is somewhat weak. Believe me, driving LM intensively can be considered a sport of its own, you're really busy there! Haha.

Sadly, the production one is way too different. With lower bodykit and utterly ugly door handles.

I am taken aback as to how ugly it is. Lamborghini is marketing this as a 'Super Sport Utility' and it gives me immediate feelings of Pontiac Aztec when I see it. IMHO a missed opportunity on the styling but they will sell tons of them either way.

My guess is in the flesh,it is wide and intimidating,a big car, wich is good.Asssstekkk do come to mind, but poss a written off impression once you see it in everyday traffic amongst regular cars. Lets give it a Chance, I do wish they would have used the Huracan v10, even if in no turbo version would have been a few tick slower to 60.
