That's what I thought. Hard to read on my small screen. €80,000 is actually US$93,000 ( not the $100,000 that it was previously referred to ). I thought these cars ( and most collector cars ) tend to trade at a higher price in Europe than they do here in the US. Is that not at the case with the TR?

Thank u for proving my point Both of those cars are low mileage and go for over 100k usd as per ur picture. There are some cheap ones too here in the usa as i previously attached but mileage, originality of wheels, steering wheels, valance colour etc are not there...god knows the service history too! Well the 360 is a 60-80k car, the 430 is becoming a sub 100k car, the 612 can also be 110k, california 1st gen are also found 110k...355 sub 100k too... Now to say the TR is expensive to fix i honestly disagree....cost of service on a tr 8k, 2k parts, cost of brakes on a tr 1500 , on a 458 with carbon ceramic brakes? Clutch on a Tr 4k, diff 4k... Such as my case, when you could pick a car up for $40 to 50K, do the maintenance yourself the testarossa purchase made sense, but at todays prices at $100k plus, then if you have to pay somebody to work on it, does it really makes sense? I see the same cars month after month for sale, not a lot of movement.
Agreed! Ppl are asking like 130k not happening, all the ones that sell do sell in the85-95 range (non collector). Now as far as the maintenance the key words is how much you can do yourself because if you can it is not that bad to live with. Tr for right now are a buyers market. That will change again I recently purchased a tr and was looking for close to a year I paid well over 100k there were some offered to me in the 90s but passed there will always be the 80/90 tr but those will require work to make it in great cond color combo mileage records tool kit clasiche cert etc when it comes to ferraris lambos I don't look for cheapest prices most likely will bite u in the wallet u get what u pay for The tr is amazing to drive very raw for those that have them know what I'm writing for the ones that want one get one that's right for you and your budget

Going back to the thread the truth is every TR is different. Some say low mileage one that have sat are not ideal, some say they are the best. Color combo is of importance obviously so is all the history. It is a buyers market for now. Regarding classiche i think its nice to have and adds value but to certain extend i don’t necessarily agree with its principles. You have a brautiful white TR that is classiche and you put a tubi on it which is the right thing to do...yet if you were to try and get it classiche now it would not be awarded. Same thing if you were to change the diff to the one of a 512tr, which is better...or the wheels. I think its a great plus to have but for some things doesnt make sense to me how it operates. there will be 80 tr and 130 and up tr all depends on cond records etc thats all im saying prices will vary 95/110 k should get a nice tr like yours

They are tempting at the levels for sure and probably the best long term investment for a Ferrari in this price range.
One of our members here came over to my country Holland today to look at this 512TR for only K€ 90 ! Good Luck !
