Franco Valobra and I just finished the 2017 MM in our ex Walt Hansgen/Tom Foreman XK120M. We had such a blast we are heading back. This time with some friends.

Here are some pictures of 3 of our xk120Ms being prepared. Fallen in love with these cars.

John, you are killing me! Last winter a friend and I acquired a 1954 Triumph TR2, the Triumph-Standard Company press car, and entered the 2017 Mille. Thought we had a pretty good shot since Triumph entered two TR2s in the 1954 Mille, one driven by Maurice Gatsonides and Ken Richardson, the second by Jack Fairman and Leslie Brook, and both finished. We made the Waiting List but not the event.

Any F Chatter wish to acquire a Mille Miglia-eligible car, fully prepared for the event and fairly certain of acceptance in the 2018 event?

Very cool. Didn't realize y'all had done the MM. Looks like a blast. I'm a huge Jag and British car fan in general, love XK's. My #1 bucket list dream car is a C-type. I'd even happily settle for a Proteus or other similar quality repro....just such amazing lines and a tuned Jag 6 is one of the sweetest sounds in the automotive universe.

On your XK's, are these factory M's or some that were period modified? Can't remember all of the top of my head but I think the M's originally included different cams, and some had bigger carbs and/or C-type heads? Gorgeous cars, all of them!

Wow and wow.. love it! 120s are so beautiful, i just dont seem to fit in them.. from hip to knee is too long on me... so i bouhgt a Tr3 which kind of mimics the style.
