LMAO! That explains why Billick is no longer a head coach. Remind me again, which (and how many) QBs did Billick develop? Exactly. Changing a QB mid-season does not necessarily mean you are throwing in the towel.

Teams can’t admit they are throwing in the towel. DEN is no exception. The first four games Den was 3-1. Had they been able to keep up that pace by extrapolation implies 12-4. That is not good enough to get home field advantage in the playoffs. No way DEN is going to beat both KC and NE in their houses. Having lost four in a row they are 3-5. Almost impossible to get a Wildcard spot...especially with no qb.
Looks like the Denver and the Texans will be seeing who has the best of the worst. I'm glad we don't have Brock anymore though, the local afternoon show does play any Brock soundbites anytime they can though and compare to his pressers last season. LOL!
Tom, I think I'll beat you on picks, but you beat me hands down on pithy comments! And btw, if we have to keep helping you each week to get your picks straight, you're going to owe us all a beer!
Be careful Tom. Dallas isn't that far. I'll drive up for free beer and sleep in my car. I drank a lot tonight, 4 tall ones at BDubs. And BTW the more I see Sherman's face the more annoying I find him. Lol.
[emoji23] Hopefully, some wings to go with that beer. Pee Wee Sherman looks to be injured, so you'll not have to worry about him tonight. T
Yes, wings, kettle chips and celery. Didn't know about Sherman's injury until after I posted that. Never cool to see any player injured.
Pee Wee has a ruptured achilles...out fot the season. He didn’t play very well before the injury. I ruptured my achilles skiing once. No way l could have played football right after it happened. And it was a long recovery. SEA seemingly had a penalty on every play. Glad l could ff through all the stopages.
AZ had six first downs thanks to SEA penalties. SEA had 12 penalties for 108 yards. AZ had 9 penalties for 58 yards.
Even the Cards radio guys were commenting on the length of the game due to all the injury/penalty stoppages. Seattle (mostly Wilson) made the big plays, Cards could seemingly not. Some costly dropped balls by the AZ receivers not named Larry Fitzgerald...T
I thought Peterson’s fumble on the first play from scrimmage set the tone for the game. It put AZ in horrible field position which eventually led to the first td. No way Stanton could hold a candle to Wilson...who is putting the whole team on his back. Gotta be in the discussion for league MVP. Walsh even made a field goal which was about the distance of a PAT. Surprised he wasn’t replaced for this game. All Wilson has to do is: Avoid pass rushers cause th O Line sucks. Be the best rusher on the team. Run around until his receivers finally get open. Get close enough so Walsh can’t miss. Deliver the ball such that it can be caught. Don’t see how if SEA doesn’t get a ruuning game and an O Line Wilson will end up on IR like Pee Wee Sherman.
Agreed. He should be in MVP discussion. I don't think many other QBs carry their offense like he does. The long pass play to Baldwin was a thing of beauty...T
