Connecticut-based Downdraft, don't know this one's chassis number yet. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The same wingless Downdraft, it has a tan interior, seen in the company of a Ferrari 250 TDF. Image Unavailable, Please Login
From a few decades ago, Ohio-registered Downdraft. Some of the cars privately imported somehow escaped much USA DOT modification, besides side-marker lights. Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is the scene that Patrick Mimran observed when visiting the bankrupt Automobili Lamborghini in 1980, they were assembling rows of mundane FIAT 127s to keep the lights on, imagine how depressing that must have been for the workers to see. Image Unavailable, Please Login
A page ago I posted an image of a new LHD Blu Acapulco Downdraft in the parking lot at Monza for the World Sportscar Championship race, still on EE plates. I think I solved the mystery of which car this is, based on the sticker on the top center of the windscreen! Image Unavailable, Please Login
This Downdraft was new to TechArt's founder & CEO Thomas Behringer, who had started the company in 1987. Here it is in his German workshop in a TechArt promo image, with EE plates still affixed (numbers edited out), TechArt sticker @ the top of the windscreen, and roof aerial in situ. Note that the Lamborghini bull emblem on the front hood has also been edited out! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Even with a closeup, its hard to tell if that's a grey or blue interior. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hong Kong-based Downdraft, I'm not sure if this is the one that was originally Fosters Blue to Australia, regardless it remains in Australia-spec, you can just about see the rear panel small square Carello side-marker still affixed. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Anyone have a source for the small rear reflectors that sometimes fall out of the rear lens? It would be fairly easy to manufacture, but an already-made source would be easier! Image Unavailable, Please Login

Rick Lee's car is JLA12410 - see below. No, the Thomas Behringer TechArt car is a 1987 non-skirted Downdraft as far as I can establish, so it'll have a HLA prefix, and I'm pretty sure it's been posted in this thread prior. Pricey! FWIW they are asking about the same as JLA12305 sold for. GLA12912 (UK-registered 21 HDT) was my first Downdraft, driven often & driven hard, my wife & I met 27 years ago and went for one of our first dates in that car, many fond memories. Pretty sure that was the DD sold by Fantasy Junction years ago. http://www.fantasyjunction.com/cars/1096-Lamborghini-Countach-5.0%20Litre%2012-Cylinder FLA12830
