If you are ever offered a 750 Monza that came from NZ, with an alloy body and oval tube chassis but fitted with a tuned Alfa engine, and the seller tries to tell you it is mostly original, I can assure you its not, 5% of the parts in the car, if that, are original.
This is a good thread, and some very interesting views being expressed.

In the 70 years parade in Stockholm 6 june (Swedens national day) there is a 250 SWB California. I suspect it is a rebody. (No idea about the s/n) what are the most obvious giveaways to spot a fake? Except it may look "wrong"...,

Can anyone provide an identity for this car please?

I photographed it at Silverstone on July 28 1991. I had thought it was 5333GT but I have seen some more pictures of that car and now think this one is something else, also 5333GT was not butchered until 1992. The two cars do share some some common features though so perhaps this was one of the earlier cars made by Jim Rose and Les Monk.

A bit of a trawl through the wonderful 330GT registry suggests 6481. Is anyone able to confirm this please?

    Thank you.

Many years ago I was in touch with a man from the Cincinnati area who claimed to have all the molds to produce a 1971 Ferrari 512M body. He was the glass guy for John Hajduk's shop and assisted in several of John's restorations.
I would like to acquire a complete set of panels to hang on my shop wall as art.
Can anyone recall this man or his business? PM Me if you do.

I was driving home from work on Thursday evening, heading north on the A3 motorway from Portsmouth towards London (UK) and passed what appeared to be a 250 TR.

I've looked down the list of genuine cars and it doesn't seem to match any; it was LHD, darkish red with a white/blue stripe like NART colours, and fitted with a wide crash bar which had padding on, as though to prevent a helmet bumping when used for racing.

I couldn't grab a pic as I was driving, but does anyone have any idea what car it was? It had a five-number registration plate (Channel Islands?)

    Thanks

    Paul M

Anyone know this car? Looks like a TRI/61 to me, but can't find any info online about it. Was at a CSRG event in October at Sonoma Raceway - parked by an Epifani truck.

Not a Ferrari, but pretty interesting story of a guy who built a Countach in his basement. I'm not sure which part is more interesting -- the 17 years he spent building it or the method he used to remove it from the basement:

6481 is definitely a 330GT rebody to a TR59/60 by Jim Rose and was there in the early 90s

Do you know how many TR59 replicas were built by Jim Rose and Les Monk?

There were 5 built and I believe 6481 was the first built out of the 5

Thanks. Do you have any idea of the market value of these cars?

Real good question, I think it depends on all the little details to each individual car makes the biggest difference. F40 motorsports has one similar by DK engineering and was asking near 7 figures but now he just says to call for price. You don't see these 5 by Jim Rose come up for sale very often and the last one I have seen was car #3 which was Innis Ireland's car go to auction in around 2012 and did not sell
