Japan might be a RHD county but almost ever modern Ferrari you see there is LHD - its some sort of tradition that special cars are ordered LHD Notice that even the J50 Ferrari was LHD
When I mentioned a few odd panel gaps on my Cali they said it proves it was handmade.......unlike a Porsche where they are perfect proving they are not handmade.......go figure
You're correct and that is precisely why the first commenter mistakenly assumed it might be Japan, car being LHD. If you pay attention to rest of traffic, that is clearly an LHD location.
I have..twice...in a gorgeous triple yellow paint. Car is absolutely stunning to behold, I think it is sensational. My point, and only point, is that it doesn't have that "classic beauty" of the F12. I am not a hater, just making a point about beautiful, simple, flowing, classic, unadorned curvy shapes.
I have the F12 and simply cant wait for the 812. Its strange as before the 812 I felt the same way. However now that the 812 is out the F12 seems "dated". Might just be me as I prefer a more "edgy" look.
That’s funny, shouldn’t hand made be better ! What a value proposition, we know is s#it build quality but that’s a deliberate part of our value proposition.
812 Demonstrator at H.R. Owen London yesterday. UK dealers had a choice of four fixed specs for their demo cars. Two Red specs, one Silverstone and one Blue TDF like this. I think that is a very non cohesive spec and amazing that Ferrari chose it as a dealer spec. Blue and black don’t go (carbon and the black wheels) . Relevance of red calipers ? Almost “trying too hard” and very busy. Just my view.
I went out for drive in the car today and although I spent most of the time stuck in London traffic car feels absolutely brilliant Regarding the Spec - in real life it works really well and would have ordered something very similar but won't now that so many dealers have the spec for their demo cars Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have to say that was exactly my feeling when i took the photos yesterday. This spec really doesn't work for me. The black wheels don't work with the Blue paint, neither do the red calipers and the interior doesn't look great in black. Strange as my F12 interior is black but i do have the Alcantara pack. I think a lighter interior ie Cuoio would suit much better. Also the 'piano black' trim running along the dash looks like a cheap moulding. Carbon required. I'm not just saying this because I have an F12, but when i walked out of the showroom and got straight into my F12 i really felt it looked like nicer quality inteiror than the showroom car....and I have an 812 order by the way.
