Yeah, this is the 5th one we've had come it. The rest went to various dealers, OH, CO......this one's staying local. The odd thing is, they come in crated. Most of the other cars I see, come in strapped to air pallets.
I spoke with a couple LaFerrari owners who mentioned they are individually crated. I believe they want to go the extra mile to protect them during shipping. I’m assuming this accomplishes that objective.
From Mr. Greg B: "Oh yes... any idea what’s incoming?! #Ferrari going green" Is there a (possibly repainted) Aperta under the cloth?
To me, it just looks like a car ready for customer reveal in the factory atelier adjacent to the Classiche department.
What could it be then? A one-off based on a design concept such as the Tensostruttura or the one displayed at Ferrari World?
There are still a few LaFerrari Apertas that have not been delivered to customers. It’s likely just a customer who has chosen to have his car revealed at the factory, or an older photo. It may also be the 70th Anniversary celebration auction car.
Greg, for the sake of God, don't do the same thing you did with the 458 V12... a picture of a car under a cover and nothing after. Wasn't cool.
he said "Going green" . Since the LafA isn't available in green it cannot be a LaFA delivery. I think that must be his LafA (Mirrors are seating lower than on the LaF) resprayed in Green, like peter (ChalStrad) did in blue.
Could be, though that would be odd given where that photo was taken. Maybe it was just a light reference to KERS. Who knows.
I'm personally not a fan of the green and orange spec that he typically gets but congrats to him for somehow getting virtually every extremely limited edition car on the planet!
