Kimi asked about this race: ''nothing wrong with the car really, boring race because of the rules they prevent racing''
Brundle: ''was this race as boring as it seemed from up in the commentary box? The podium felt like a wake..." absolutely right
Same here! I lost to Maja - A major Lewis Hamilton fan (it's about the only thing that goes against her!) Just like Seb and Ferrari, I'll be back again in 2018 to try again!
OK race for the finale. Bottas had good pace and was equal to LH who could not really challenge due to the silly current aero. 116 days and we can see what or who had a good winter and testing/development. Im expecting a bit more of the same. Will be interesting to see who Mercedes adjust their package in relation to Ferrari and Red Bull. A nice 3 way battle would be welcome! I like the new F1 logo more than expected....

I have been in a league on this for a few years - a bit of fun https://www.superbru.com/f1/play_motorsport.php
Yep I use superbru too but I find their layout very annoying, after 6 years or so I still struggle to find out where the standings are in one simple click!
“Nothing But Commercials Sports final sign-off was less than impressive. Only the montage of races/results the last five years had any real value. The “shooey” was odd.
Ricci does a good job of describing my feelings about Kimi. Ricci should be in that seat! https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/133290/ricciardo-raikkonen-shouldve-been-miles-ahead Daniel Ricciardo shrugged off losing fourth in the 2017 Formula 1 championship to Kimi Raikkonen at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as he feels Raikkonen should have outscored him comfortably. Ricciardo arrived at Yas Marina seven points ahead of Raikkonen in the F1 drivers' standings and was on course to beat him to fourth place in the race too. But a hydraulic failure on Ricciardo's Red Bull and Raikkonen's fourth place finish meant the Ferrari driver took fourth in the championship by five points. When asked how disappointed he was to lose fourth in the standings, Ricciardo told NBC: "If I'm brutally honest, with that car he should have been a long way in front in the championship. So, yeah, I don't think it's a big deal."
Not extended contract I guess. No matter as Phillip Morris owns all the sponsorship on Ferrari so Ferrari gets paid regardless what happens.
Time to close up shop....until next year. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
He does with such a defensive response. Kimi's career is over and he is hardly a legend, certainly not a statistical one. Ricci makes things happen. Kimi had forgetful year. FA showed how Kimi how much he doesnt have in their time at Ferrari. Another year of Kimi is useless. Its been over for him since FA literally dominated him. A useless bravado statement from Kimi above. He is beyond inconsistent. Please leave......I didnt miss him the first time at all.
There was no one else to sign at the time plus the Vettel and Kimi relationship is good. I will say this, both Kimi and Ricci up and to this race had 4 DNF's throughout the year or did not score pts. That being said, the Ferrari car was the better car than the RedBull so I understand Ricci's statement. Yes, we have Kimi (sigh) for one more year but its what was offered at the time. Cue Bas......
