1/12...and it's fantastic, you're very fortunate to own such a model.

I am at disbelief that it would appear that I am the only client Peter had?

Not one photo, come on guys!

Beautiful GTO model and really sad Peter is no longer with us. I have admired his work for quite a while.

Peter was really unique in that he could do everything better than the rest of us, and do it in a remarkably tight time frame. It takes a steady hand and a TON of focus to be able to do both of those things. All the greats are that way; that's what sets them apart.

Maybe we could find some owners through Mini Werks. I believe they sold his work.

I agree, but Peter would also deal directly with his customers. I did...

Just saw your entry on Ferrarichat and thought I'd comment. I currently have over 80 models built by Peter over the years. They range from 1/43rd to 1/20th scale. Beautiful pieces but, I no longer collect and am offering them for sale if anyone has an interest? Can email a list if interested.

Far too many to post pictures. If you have a specific model in mind, I may be able to post pictures.

Furmano, the thought still takes my breath away. I planned my first project with Peter in 2018. Although I only communicated through social media, I often had a warm feeling when we were chatting. To get acquainted with the creator of these trinkets, is very important to me. Because I am living in Belgium, European master craftsmen (e.g. Fred Suber, Jean-François Alberca, Mike Craig) are more obvious to me. Would you mind to send a list to [email protected]?
I thank you in advance! Frank M

Just to be clear, it's noelsairplanes above who has the collection of models made by Peter. Perhaps he can post up some images for us to enjoy.

Peter did some wonderful work.....I knew him from many years ago, and more recently as well. He will be missed.

Here are some photos of one of his 1:43 scale builds. It is also for sale; if anyone is interested send me a PM.

    Porsche 911 GT-1, Diorama, Le Mans 1996 .
This extremely rare, super detailed Porsche scene was built many years ago by Peter Wingfield under his old company label: Pro Line Models. Pieces such as this, that were built by Pro Line were often built as one-offs. It is believed that Pro Line built less than 3 or 4 of these pieces..... maybe only this one? Quite rare. All of the parts in this diorama are fixed/set in position in the custom case as shown. There is a substantial amount of detail to be found everywhere you look, the pictures say it all.

Peter (F-Chat handle PeterWPro) and I went a few rounds last fall in P&R, and finally he was the only one here to take my up on a $100 wager on the election.
I paid up and in a PM he thanked me and called me a gentleman.
That was about the last he posted here I think.
Despite our vociferous and passionate political differences (and some admittedly childish jabs on my part) it was nice to end things on a civil note.

That all just an aside from his stunning model builds...

    RIP Peter.
