I am proud to present this pristine, stock, ready-to-drive 1997 Acura NSX-T finished in the iconic Formula Red over Black. This low-VIN example is one of the first of the 1997 "NA2" generation NSXs, with the improved 3.2-liter engine & 6-speed manual transmission.

This NSX-T is in truly fantastic condition, showing even better than the mileage would suggest with zero dings, scratches, or stone chips. Every accessory works as it should inside & out, including the crystal clear radio and fantastic A/C (typical trouble areas on these cars). I have sourced, owned, and sold tens of NSXs and can confidently say this is one of the nicest I have had the pleasure of being involved with.

Note that the link above details previous high-quality bolt-on performance modifications (including a Comptech low-boost supercharger) undertaken on this car, which were removed prior to the Bring a Trailer sale. The car is sold in completely stock form today, exactly as it was on Bring a Trailer.


Maintenance Information:

The timing belt service was last completed in 2016, along with numerous other items of preventative maintenance including replacing all 23 coolant hoses (a tough job that is increasingly necessary on NSXs due to age but often skipped due to cost).

Tires are Bridgestone RE010 in front (2011 date codes) and Bridgestone RE-11A in the rear (2016 date codes). All have nearly-new tread.

I have noticed that the clutch pedal is not perfectly smooth at full travel, but the clutch master & slave cylinder were replaced in 2016 and the clutch itself bites very strong for an NSX. Otherwise, the car drives without a single flaw, and exactly as a like-new NA2 NSX should.


Car comes with the following:

- Two original keys.
- 1997 NSX owner's manual.
- Used vehicle window sticker & purchase paperwork from when the car was at Acura of Brookfield in Wisconsin (2006).
- Full service records detailing the extensive 2016 servicing mentioned above.

It looks really new. I never realized the engine was accessible by the rear glass lifting up and a cover. Cool but most be a pain to work in there!
