    I believe KLA12082 is actually a LM002 and not a Countach

Probably both, although the rest of the digits of an LM002 and a Countach won’t be the same!

The LM002 would almost certainly have been JLA12082

Correct, LM002 ZA9L00000JLA12082 was in Belgium around 25 years ago.

Said that, it's perfectly possible that a the last 8 digits on a Countach are the same as on an LM002 (f.e. GLA12024 exist as a Countach 5000S QV and as an LM002). The same can be the case between a Jalpa and a Countach.

The difference can be found in the first digits:
Countach will start with : ZA9C
    LM002 will start with : ZA9L
Jalpa will start with : ZA9J

    A perfect snapshot in time!
KLA12952 Rosso Nero came off the line 07.02.90 followed by
    KLA12958 Arancio Champagne 07.02.90 and
    KLA12955 Nero Rosso 08.02.90...

Illustrating perfectly that completion of cars was not always sequential to chassis numbers.

12815 is definitely a RHD Anniversary delivered new in black with a light tan interior.

Not to be confused with 12926, which was also sold by Bonhams, which is RHD black with red.

When Bonhams sold 12926, the description in the catalogue was correct, except they said the chassis number was 12815. I suspect someone copy and pasted the old description and forgot to change the chassis number!

Here it is: black with red Anniversary listed as 12815, but the car is actually 12926: http://www.bonhams.com/auctions/23595/lot/116/

KLA12988 is also a Brunei RHD Countach.

Does anyone have any photos or the identities of any red RHD Countach Anniversaries in Australia that they can share including any previously for sale? There are several over there, but they are tricky to locate. Many thanks. Robert W

The last 25th chassis number was KLA12085, the car in the Lamborghini Museum.

Pretty close to the highest absolute number, but I can beat you by 4: I've seen 12999!!!
