Why didn't you just buy a going concern ? My Car was available when you were looking and it would have been a steal at $80k with nothing to do to it bar maybe strengthen the springs which is the cheapest fix for a Ferrari
Whilst the two cars share the same brand and model and even colour, they don't compare in any other way.
What have you done with Pee Pee????? That response was way too polite! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
talking of "all this time" my Vette block is now promised for next week, after 5 months at the machine shop. When I did similar work to the 289 in my Mustang in the late 90's, I had it back in 2 weeks. Talking to the owner, it's a familiar tale of shortage of skilled tradespeople and high demand because of the large number of cars being restored.
sorry to hear this... hopefully once you get it on the road the joy of driving it will make all this drama fade away...
yep any kid who wants to make a fortune in the future should be apprenticing to one of the old mechanical trades.
Yep he can't wait for it to come back, late braking into corners, full controlled slides down the Wauchope range!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Cams and Targa have approved my car.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"K smartarse, here's what it looks like now in the shed. Been virtually stationary since '01. It's going to the same bloke who built the mechanics for my '96,'98/9 and 2001 efforts......the same fella that built Andy White's one. ..............................and we know how good THAT one is. Yep,Gary's been doing my Vovo's since my second TT '96. He's amazing on the heads and has all his own gear . He's been living in Smelbourne for the past 2 years and has seen the light and will be back in the sunny state in January.
