No such thing as a 2002 550, but a very nice Ferrari. Probably first registered in 2002. Love the Cuoio interior.

Photographs will never be able to capture the beauty of a Maranello in Blu Pozzi.

I see his point. No shields, and many would prefer Daytona seats to the racing ones. Still an awesome 550.

I agree. This color is extremely hard to capture... It changes color. And the picture needs to be taken before the car is driven after a wash/wax session. If not, the lustre/finish won't be good enough.

But the mileage on the car for sale isn't bad. My 550 has ~74,000 miles. I'll have to pay a hauler to carry it away.

What do you mean when saying you need a hauler to move it?

I meant that my car is considered a high-mileage car by some people. I was joking that it's worthless and I'd have to pay someone to take it away.

In fact, my car runs beautifully. I got to explore its upper limits ant Daytona and the experience was breathtaking. I have no intention of parting with this car.

Love this spec! I actually love the racing seats..but I suppose it depends on body type.

I don't care if it was custom ordered beige on beige with a bench seat, no 550 is "plain Jane".

    IMO of course

I'm sure it's all about personal preferences. I have the CF racing seats in my F512M and 430 Coupe. Daytonas in my 575 and 430 Spider. Regular seats in my 550. By a margin that surprised me, I prefer the racing seats, and I don't track my cars. They fit so well, feel so good, and give you more of a 'seat of the pants' driving experience. I do also love the Daytonas in the 575, which feel better somehow than those in the 430, which are softer.

The racing seats also look great. They also save a little weight, maybe not noticeable on the road in a Maranello, but perhaps more so in the lighter cars.

Sounds familiar... To do those speeds legally on public highways is something everyone should get the opportunity to do in their life! I have a picture of the needle at over 320 kph. somewhere.. It is plain sick! Once every year or so, I drive from Miami to North Carolina. A few places in Georgia or South Carolina, are some straight and perfectly even and smooth stretches of highway where all Ferraris can stretch out to their absolute max. Luckily, I don't drive a Ferrari in the States.....

…perfectly right Erik, the color changes, strongly linked to the light conditions....

I actually looked at that car in Sweden just before Christmas. It looked like new inside. It had a great paint lustre, but it might have been repainted, as I can not remember that these Cars had «slight orange peel». The car was actually sold at asking price the day before I was there!
