    How about a design challenge to please potential customers,instead of yourself? You know, a car that has windows you can see out of? Plus, any design challenge needs parameters, for example size and so on. From my days in the home building bidness, sometimes the biggest challenge is to make something ordinary pretty.

    That is a very interesting trunk cut line on the sedan. I can see where it might facilitate loading the trunk from each side. If the trunk lid could be raised and locked at the full 90 degree angle, one would almost have a small pickup bed.

    The sedan in black looks amazing for that period. The first thing you notice is no big front overhang and the airy look with all that glass. Thanks!

    I want to thank everyone that made suggestions for my class next Semester.
    I have to apologize however, in that i just received notice that the class has to be canceled due to a lack of enrollment.
    So your ideas were going to be used, maybe i'll save them for a future class.
    It is what it is.....sorry.

    It was a class for the Juniors. Ed Welburn decided he would teach the Senior Studio class. The Juniors choose between Interior, Transportation and Exterior Studio. Not enough Juniors signed up for Exteriors I guess. So i’m on a hiatus for the time being.

    At least Welburn is contributing back to the students. But it does make me wonder if he is going to give them lessons in how to do vacuous interviews and to make fawning new model introductions on crap.
