Wilder VS Stiverne II tonight for the WBC Heavyweight title. Wilder predicts he will KO Stiverne this time. One thing is for sure, Mr T and I predict......
I see Tyson Fury is back in the gym and it actually looks like he is losing a few pounds. AJ, Fury and Wilder have all be slinging off at each other on Twitter and via Facebook videos. AJ has always shown class, but he is getting nasty and I don't like it. But perhaps he has to get nasty from here on in to mix it up with the big boys in the division. Looks like 2018 is going to be a HUGE year for the Heavyweight division. I definitely see Wilder VS AJ fighting mid-late next year. I am not sure about Fury, he keeps talking that he is coming back to fight for the titles and he IS in the gym................but we all know just how volatile he is. So we will see what happens.
I think lol. I read an article that AJ said sometimes you have to get nasty in this business and that was what he was doing in his reply to Fury.
I totally forgot about Lomachenko VS Rigo, but I still watched the entire fight today. Dear me, Loma is an absolute wrecking machine. Watch the fight gents, only goes for 6 rounds.
And yep, old triple D destroyed his opponent in the 2nd round. http://www.news.com.au/sport/boxing/daniel-dubois-destroys-opponent-with-another-knockout-victory/news-story/64806202b78948b9dcae30fe62a8b12a
Loma is Amazing. Unfortunately he lacks punching power. Rigo looked awful. But then again, he did go up 2 weight classes.
He has decent power, has KO'd one or two fighters. He normally gets a TKO from the ref stopping the fight while the opponent is getting pummeled on the ropes and in the case of his last two fights.......fighters quitting on their stool in the corner.
Ok, so Aussie Jeff Horn stopped Irishman Gary Corcoran last night defending his WBO Welterweight title that he beat Manny P for back in July. There was talk now of Jeff fighting Terence Crawford for that title in Vegas next April. Crawford will take Jeff apart, Crawford is one of my favourite fighters and I think he and Lomachenko are the two best P4P fighters in the world today. Looking forward to seeing Crawford add another feather in his cap next April if that fight takes place.
Yep, Jeff is going to be taught a boxing lesson if that fight goes down next year. Nicole just told me that Mundine is making noise about the Horn fight lol, I will try and find the article and have a read.
Billy Joe Saunders defending his WBO Middleweight title against David Lemieux over in the UK. Billy Joe reckons once he puts Lemieux to sleep, he wants to fight Canelo or GGG lol.
Yeah, you're not wrong lol. I read that Choc has offered Horn $2M to fight him in a non-title fight next year. *$2M of someone else's money of course, Choc hasn't got $2M laying around lol* We will see what happens next year, sounds like will have to keep his options open.
Yeah, I read he wanted the bout before Crawford ie before July. Horn would move up a weight division which Lewis says will suit him better anyway. Geez, Choc must be getting on in age, though? Certainly older but no wiser!
Yeah man, would be nice to see Horn fight slightly heavier. He has that thick frame doesn't he. Choc has a fight on the 17th of January lol. I never knew that until I started to read up on him in regards to this Horn fight. I think Mundine is 42 now, certainly not getting any younger for this sport that's for sure lol.
What about the Saunders/Lemieux fight? Saunders really outclassed Lemieux. Very impressive performance on BJS's part. He's on his high horse now ready to take on either Golovkin, Canelo or Jacobs. Golovkin will get to Saunders and hurt him very badly IMO. BJ would beat Canelo on points in all likelihood (depends on the venue and the paid off judges. Jacobs is skilled but I think BJ is just a bit too slick for him. All interesting fights and something we can all hope are on the horizon.
Yeah man, BJS was all class in that fight. It's a shame he hasn't fought like that throughout his career, would have made him more likeable. Definitely hope he has a crack at GGG. Forget GGG VS Canelo II....................I wanna see GGG unify the Middleweight division by giving BJS a beat down.
2018 is a rebuilding year pretty much all around. There will be some consolidation, but no super spectacular fight match ups I hope for yet.
Looks like Wilder VS Ortiz on the 3rd of March. Will be good to see someone give Wilder a decent matchup, even though I think Ortiz is highly overrated!
Ortiz's style reminds me alot of Larry Holmes. I just don't like Wilder. Hopefully Ortiz could be the guy to knock Wilder off, but I don't think so.
