Social disparities widening, deficits, years of stagnant wage growth and unchecked economic migration in Europe meaning the number of places you can take a Ferrari versus 15 years ago is dwindling. Moped led car crime in London is rife, sometimes 200 cars a night in localities. Mainly Somali (not prejudiced a statistical fact).

Will ultimately have an effect on the market, it has to. Feeling anxious, self conscious and property crime a bad combo.

That’s before you get in to the EV debate.

Carbon surround on a dark colored car helps blend it in but on a lighter shade the darn thing stands out too much for my liking
Your spec looks very interesting please post pics after you get delivery. Thanks for your response

Did the Austria, Germany, Luxemburg, etc. tourist thing in 1972 although I had 3 years of French but not been to France. Scooters on the sidewalk sounds dangerous and based on your description I would not park an FCar there.. No desire to go there at all come to think of it.

Gosh I hope no one experiences Ferrari hate.
Unfortunately I have . Someone threw an egg at my parked red 360. I didn’t understand that the chemistry of a raw egg is bad for the paint.

When I was in Miami Florida, as I was returning to my trendy South Beach hotel I saw a beautiful metallic yellow Lamborghini
Aventador convertible parked in front, with one entire side of the car keyed (scratched maliciously )

Later my friends told me that many people are jealous and haters.

Since I’ve always loved cars this was a bitter revelation. I’m sorry I’d never do that to someone’s property.

I've found all European countries fine. The only country that seems screwed is the UK. London is a Khazi, can't figure out why people still buy £20m+ homes there and get robbed by "yoofs" on scooters. To top it off the police can't chase them once they take their helmets off.

It is no coincidence that people flock to London and as a consequence so do those seeking to seize the opportunity of robbing them of their belongings. To say London is a Khazi, is frankly, both rude and incorrect as demonstrated by its incredible popularity. It may well not be perfect but in comparison with many others, it remains pretty special, yoofs and all.

I live 15 miles South of Central London and I try and avoid going into "Town" as much as possible.

"Khazi" describes much of it in my eyes, I would happily move to another part of the UK but my business keep me here unfortunately.

Much of the Hate towards powerful cars in general (in London) is generated by the trend of parading up and down the streets at little more than walking pace whilst revving the nuts of whatever F Car/Lambo/Maser/Porsche/AMG/Jag you're driving. Vile chav like behaviour.

On the whole it's not a nice place.

I think the only people that don't see it as a Khazi live in Chelsea, Knightsbridge, some parts of Westminster, and small areas of North London, and tend not to venture further afield, god forbid they went south of the river. Sure, these places are lovely but it doesn't take away from the fact that the rest of it is pretty dire and crime ridden. The helmet situation does make me laugh, if the country wasn't so damn politically correct, a few nights of ramming by police cars and these moped crimes would be over within days. It's an absolute joke.

Could you please elaborate about "the helmet situation"?? I'm not familiar with it but you raised my interest. PM if you wish, to avoid the off-topic.

I'm sure there are some lovely places south too Tim. Maybe inaccurate to describe all of London like I did but I think you can understand my point that many feel unsafe in what (in my view) was a great city in the past. It's certainly not a dig but I do think many living in the good post codes don't understand what vast parts of London are now like. They are somewhat protected from the realities. Anyway, back to the 812 chat, I've a feeling yours will turn up long before mine!! Have you decided what spec you're going for?

I'm sorry but this is complete nonsense.
Please provide facts on London's comparative crime ranking with other major cities and your view (not the fake news of the tabloids) on the "helmet situation"

Not fake. It’s a real issue in london. It’s ridiculous as the asses on mopeds deserve what they get even if it’s death - they have thrown acid on some people in order to steal the mopeds, then don’t wear a helmet, ride at dangerous speeds, so if they get killed, so what!

Just one article of many. Unless there is an imminent risk to life the police will not chase a driver with no helmet. They have to do risk assessments, try to call in a helicopter etc. You can bury your head in the sand but the fact is if a kid nicks a handbag or phone while on a scooter, the police give chase, and he takes his helmet off they will not continue the pursuit. It's got so bad the Government are trying to decide whether to issue clearer guidelines so the police are not worried about being prosecuted in the event someone on a scooter is injured/dies while being chased. You should read about Henry Hicks and the outcome of that. Ever heard of him? It's shameful what happened to those policemen.
