I'm a big Lexus fan after 13 years and 3 X GS300's I can swear by the qualify of the brand. Aside from routine service I did not change so much as a light bulb in any of them and the build qualify and ride quality is excellent. Having said that I went into a CLA45-AMG instead of a 4th Lexus. I wasn't happy with the RC350 performance wise and I wanted something sportier. The RCF is over priced for what it is however and I couldn't afford the gorgeous RC500 so Merc it was...and its a 400Hp little beastie of car. Having a great time at the lights with anyone game enough to give me a go. Its only 0.1 of a second off the C63 to 100km/hr, not bad for a 2L 4 cylinder, turbo........big..........turbo
A bit of good news for me. Just this arvo I finally bought my perfect Red 360 Manual Spider and its an absolute ripper. A late 2004 model (UK import), ex concourse winner (QLD and National) with just over 9000 'original km's. Been in storage since 2015. A dealer car traded for a 488, I literally bought it 4 hours after it first listed on car sales (and I got my txt alert!) based on a several phone calls and some pics. Its simply immaculate with a perfect (one lady owner in UK plus one guy here) service record. Even has factory fitted 'Challenge Stradale' seats. I've paid a premium for it (I wont say exactly what but well over 160k) but I have scored a top quality 'as new' RED 360 Manual Spider which was my real desire. Will have a 'Ferrari Dealer' major service plus cambelt included. Sure there are some good clean cars like the ones at Lorbeks floating around that are cheaper but at the end of the day when a real rare gem pops up you just cant stuff around. There were 5 people behind me in a queue if I knocked it back. We all know what these cars are worth and there is no such thing as a bargain Ferrari, you get what you pay for. I'm wrapped
I think I know the QLD owner but not sure it won national concourse, but whatever, I remember it being a nice example if it's the same one Well done mate, a lot of car for the money
That’s what the sales rep told me but I’ll find out soon enough even if just a local state concours I’ll still be happy. It looks immaculate from all the pics I have. I don’t have the original owners name yet but he is due to take delivery of a new 488 soon ! Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app

Congrats Andrew, What a Christmas present. Who did you buy thru? Funny as my car was traded on a 488 too I wanted a manual too but when a red/tan F1 with 9200kms came up I pounced. I can see your grin driving that car now, enjoy mate
Buyers of UK cars from this era should be aware that usually only the face of the speedo is changed to kmh, 99% of the time the odometer remains in miles.
Bought it through Brisbane Ferrari. Yes it’s rare for such a low km car to come up and when I saw it had 90% plus of all the options I was looking for (some may have seen my crazy check list I posted in the Car Sales section) I had to have it. No room for negotiation I had one crack at it and just bought it sight unseen [emoji15][emoji15] The most reckless thing I have ever done but thats the way it had to be. If I tried to bargain say for +/- 10k I would have lost it and maybe waited months for another opportunity like this. Add to this I believe having tracked the 360 and 430s for a while now that prices have bottomed and starting to climb, especially manuals. From what I have seen gated 360s and 430s are in hot demand and definitely on the way up. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Yes I was aware of this and Brisbane Ferrari assure me the compliance/conversion done in 2015 had the entire mechanism changed and the appropriate kms set on the new clock. The car has a really detailed service history with receipts. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Thanks buddy. Can’t wait. Been missing my 348 badly. Every sunny weekend has been just a reminder that I sold it. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
