In the later 360s Ferrari packaged a Ferrari embossed Maglight in the tool pouch. Is this flashlight black or silver or did thy interchange them? I have found two identical flashlights, one black and one silver.

I believe that the correct one is silver. Most get parted from their cars so if you have one then you are lucky. They sell for around $100 -- for a $5 Maglight so I guess the Ferrari script is valued at $95!!!

Just sold my 430 and had to point out in the sale that the flashlight had gone missing at some point.

My 430 came with a silver flashlight with black Ferrari lettering. I think its the same as what was supplied with the 360. Apparently these go missing fairly often.

I love that F430 glove box layout. Much better than my 360 -- bog improvement.

If someone has one from a 360 would you mind doing a picture post. OR is it like the one in the 430 glove box

Man, the F430 glove box is way better than the 360. Can't even fit the manuals in my glovebox, I have to put them in the front boot. And it's got a trick flashlight holder built in! The tiny glovebox on the 360 is oddly one of my only peeves with the car.

No glovebox for the Scuderia, but there is the same flashlight with the tools bag.

I'll see if anyone is still monitoring this thread.

I have a 2003 360 Spider and my glove box is very different than the photo above. The compartment is deeper and wider then the photo of the F430. My question is does the 360 flashlight mount in the tool kit? I have no straps in my glove box at all and any pictures of a proper flashlight mounted in a 360 would be greatly appreciated. thanks much.

If I recall from mine correctly, the flashlight in the 360 actually goes in 2 loops in the leather case that holds the manuals so you can try to figure out why your CEL is on at the side of the road in 6 languages ;)

Thanks much for the photo. My dealer is looking for or obtaining a new manual so now I know where to store the flashlight. Much appreciated.

Mine is identical to the one Bob in Makiki posted (I keep it in the leather pouch, exactly as seen above).

the 1999 360 I just bought that was sitting for all those years, is now home. I do not think that the books were ever opened and of course the flashlight is there but after 19 years it does not want to open. I am not sure I am ever going to try to open it. I did find a service receipt from 2005 (the last time the car went in for service before Algar started working on it), and the car only had 43 more miles than it did back in 2005. That has to be a new record 43 miles in over 12 years.

For those of you who still have the flashlight, NEVER leave the batteries in it. Turns a good flashlight into a bad one as soon as the batteries go bad.

Would someone be able to measure the flashlight? I'd like to replace my missing one with a similar sized generic one.

$100 isn’t so bad, that’s less than my SureFires... of course they’re actually useful.

Originals haven’t been $100 for some time now. Recent eBay sales have all been more than double that.

Hehe geez! I’m sure the best examples can never have had a battery in them!
