Sounds Like The Dealer Wrote This ??? Ferrari Newport Beach Would Not Give a Nickel Discount on a New 488, and They Didn't Not Have Any Similar 458's in Stock.

So What a Great Company ! They Let Your Car Get Stolen, & Trashed Then You Are Offered a New 488 at FULL COST MSRP Costing You Around $80,000 More After They Serviced Your Mint Condition, Low Mileage Beautiful Car. Great Deal, Great Service ! If This is Your Idea of Great Customer Service, or Good Customer Service Good Luck !

 

Why not have it repaired if you are so attached to it? It does not look like much damage was done that can't be fixed?

 

Old Security Cameras don't Equal a Security Guard, or Someone Who Gives You Your Key, and Knows Where Your Car is. They Didn't Even Know it was Missing for 27 Hours, and Were Running Around For Over an Hour Until They Knew it was Missing ! Awesome Security !

We have since this story first broke over a month ago condemned what appeared to be negligent action by this dealer. It's made national news. We are in support of getting restitution for your ordeal but fail to see how this post helps anyone, including yourself.

 

How About Some Customer Service to Start ! A Call From The Owner Saying They were Sorry ! An Equivalent 458 with Same Exact Features in The Same Condition, or a Discount on The MSRP for a New Car instead of paying Full Price. A Call Back With The Prices We Asked on 4 Used Cars That we Were Thinking of Settling For from The Owner's Son !

 

It's Not about Anything But Good Old Customer Service, and A Warning To Others How You Will Be Treated, and What To Expect When You Hand Your Valuable Car Over to This Dealer ! Pure and Simple !

 

Mechanics move cars all the time. It's not surprising they were looking for it on their lot first. Did you expect them to immediately suspect it was stolen before looking around?

 

That doesn't sound unreasonable. Why didn't you just say that instead of ranting?

Huge Fan Now ! We Still Love Ferrari but Lamborghini's are More Thought Out with The Design Elements and They Have Better Tech Throughout Than a 458, 488, or Cali-T ! It is Sinister ! Faster & Sounds Better Than a 458 & The Weak Sounding 488 and It Will Give a 488 a Run For it's Money any Day of the Week ! A Very Beautiful Machine !

There was a reason why Ferruccio Lamborghini Stopped Buying Ferrari's and Started Building His Own Cars !

 

Good Luck Finding a Similar White 458. They are all one off's ! Every Car is a Special Order ! There are rarely two cars with the same interiors; Carbon, Stitching, Lift, Seat Color, Calipers, Camera, etc..! and the closet one we found close by was priced $12,000 over what the Insurance paid, and the dealer did nothing to find a similar car except talk about it.

 

It was 2 years old when Stolen. 2015 ! and The 2015 458 Italia Spider is the one least depreciated Ferrari's.

 

It helps absolutely nobody. Just ranting. We're all sorry that someone trashed his car (or was it the GF car). Blah blah blah worst service. blah blah blah I spend this kinda money and they should kiss my... (We all know they don't have to care because there's 10 people who want to buy a car from them)

They got insurance payout. Bought "gold chain lambo" with it and now want the dealership to be profusely apologetic. After they switch brands to Lamborghini...

 

There is no way in the world you can sell a used 458 spider for its MSRP today.

Impossible. Most likely 60 grand off at the very least.

If you were at a stop light and some moron plowed into you, there is no way the insurance company is going to give you all your money back.

 

If you are able to read "We were not selling a used 458 nor did we intend to sell it, so what is your point, and we trusted these idiots to take care of a great car. You must work for the lame-ass dealer.
