60th Birthday present ?

 

I discovered a long time ago it was simpler and less stressfull to never tell my wife what cars I buy or what it costs unless she specifically asks. She's not in to cars and would struggle to identify whats in the garage.

 

It was bought as my 50th birthday pressie

I will turn 52 next week and I am planning on driving it next month for the first time

She new I loved my sports cars and was very keen to tell me she saw a nice car one day...... when I asked what sort was it she replied.... ,a red one [emoji15]

Funny that,I was looking(ambitiously) for a Lambo Espada when I was 40,inspected one owned by a bloke called Ray Helm,his was unregistered but he said take it for a run anyway....NUP!
So he said come up here,we'll go for a run in this.......1967 330GT 2+2.
10 years later,@ 50.(there it is again),I was driving my first FEV12OHOS off the transport from Sydeney.

 

I waited until my 21st to buy one. Banks were liberal with their money back then. YOLO

I had been hunting for my 360 for months and from what I saw of the matket this seems a really good buy if your not into a red manual like I was.

That one has been on and off the market a handful of times from the same dealer.

 

Really... havent seen it before. What gives ?? it seems a bargain if the kms can be confirmed and theres no surprises. With a bit of negotiation it could be an <110k buy for a 360 Spider ?!?
I guess the colour is not one of the more popular ones but still?!

 

Seems like a reasonable price for a non aussie spec car..... IMO

 

Geee your being a bit tough. Seriously $110k for a 360 Spider and you say just reasonable. What would you consider to be a great buy then 80 or 90? No this is a cheap car for sure.

Yeah I agree. I have paid way more for my UK import. But thats cause its red

 

Normally the ones with red carpets fetch a premium.............Every special event has red carpets........
