Not yet but yeah... very much so. Hopefully tomorrow will get some more details on timelines. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Nah, I couldn't afford one at 21 like PP, so I wasn't suffering till 25 to get insurance on one. I started working 7 days a week when I was 23, started looking at 24 and waited till I was 25 to buy it so I could insure it straight away. I called Suncorp and Dawes in 2004. Neither would insure me until I was 25, so it worked out good because I had the cash to buy early 2005 and ended up buying my car in August 2005. Dawes wanted $6000 from memory and Suncorp wanted $1577. Suncorp was my choice lol.
In 10 years my ex 348 will probably be worth allot more than my 360 but still I have no regrets. Wrapped with my new mistress.
Took a few calls..... Wasn't overly expensive, but I have trouble remembering something from yesterday, never mind 80 years ago.
Yeah, I think the 348 will still be worth that and more. But the 348 stays in the garage also. Good sale price man, mine is for sale for $250K if you know of anyone. That's ok man, doesn't matter what it's worth as long as you are happy. Cheers PP.
Lol, it's worth $250K now..................be worth $500K in another 10 years time. I have driven 11,000 km in the last 12 years of ownership. That is not a lot driving.
Wow that only an average of 17km's a week. A trip to the mechanic and back It must be a special one then to pull that coin now. What do you have a Challenge, Series Speciale or Competizione !?!?
Yeah, 17 km's a week??? That's a lot of driving out here lol. My 348 is none of the above mate lol. Just having some fun. It doesn't bother me if my car is worth $50K or $500K. *Definitely worth $50K* I have no interest in selling at this point in time, so the value doesn't worry me. When the time comes to sell one day then I will worry about what it's worth then. And even if I did sell it, now or in 30 years time, I don't think I could afford to replace it with what Ferrari I really want. So may as well keep it and enjoy that 'old school' Ferrari experience and will add something more modern like a 458/488 to really enjoy that newer Ferrari experience.
Spot on buddy. Selling my 348ts was harder than the divorce as I know I have lost a unique old school rack n pinion driving experience but with the gated 360 Spider I hope to enjoy a new and unique experience. Bit like the new Mrs. Out with the old in with the new
Ok ok now dont get all precious on me guys... V12s are a seperate catagory as are racing Ferraris. And dont mention F40s either.. No contest there.. .! But for me.....the 348 with test pipes and tubi in full fight still wins the 'stock' V8 Symphony Trophy in my books.
