It wasn't that expensive. The tractor was sold for about USD 40'000 including buyers premium and not for EUR 40'000 + buyers premium. That's about 30% less.
CHF versus €, sorry to be accurate, I correct you : Total :Hammer incl Commission 39.200 CHF + 12,8 % VAT for Swiss Import + 350CHF Transport in Storage 44.478 CHF x Change in € 0,855 = 38.028,69 € Or Change in Dollar $ : 0.833 = Total 45.652,70 $ which is more than the 40k $ you mentionned !!!
