Yet another photograph which really tempts me to go without shields. They look both undersized and in the wrong position.

    Amazing color, and mesmerizing photograph.
However, I think in real life the 70th Anni red does not glow the way it does in this picture.

I was at my dealer today. Most every car had shields. IMO shields don’t work as well on the GTC Lusso
It would be interesting to see pictures of some 812Superfasts with either no shields or else painted ones.
    Thanks in advance!

Yes with standard seats in cuoio. Kept this spec fairly simple with very little CF apart from steering wheel. Will have the dealer install the Forza bypass valve from Steve Bisel. I have his unit on my TDF and Aperta and is a must have to fully appreciate the exhaust note at legal speeds around town while still keeping the option to close the valves when on the freeway etc

Agreed, Tim. We chose painted shields for that reason.

    Ah the wheels>
It really needs the 80's wheels (copyright, dcmetro) for the total effect but it's a Supra in drag....

I'm so sorry Jag but they belong to my personnal Ferrari house of horror, along with everything matte (Paint, CF), diamond cut wheels, orange reflectors, contrasting daytona inserts...
