does the vw get used much john ?, especially like the maser in that colour, it shows off those beautiful lines so well!
Alas, no, the VW has not been used much of late. I bought it for my wife, who had always wanted one, but I think that once the novelty value wore off, Her Indoors' interest in it waned somewhat. I have to say that I love driving it. Once one has to got attuned to living life in the slow lane, so to speak, it is a real hoot. And very handy if you fancy a cup of tea - just pull over and put the kettle on! Thankyou, yes, that colour does suit the Maserati very well. IMO, dark blue suits almost any car better than almost any colour I know - the main reason why it is the predominant colour in my fleet. The Dino was just dark enough for my taste (in fact it was the colour combination that swung it for me), but at the time I bought my 550, I couldn't find a nice dark blue one around, so I settled for red (no regrets, though, I like it the way it is now). And when it came to the E-type, I did actually want a dark green one (although my previous E-type was dark blue!).

That's a great daily driver. I'm close to pulling the trigger on an AMG E63 S wagon for my dd. Looks like a regular merc wagon but gives the throttle loving me a big smile over and over. I suspect the same for your X5M?
The X5M is a beast. It thinks it is a sports car . I added the Dinan Stage 1 and exhaust and it really moves.

Hmmm, you have me rethinking my hot rod grocery getter. I will test both. I need to go to the bmw dealer anyway since I am also considering ordering the new M5 now that it comes with x-drive. A necessity for northeast winters. Decisions, decisions!
Cool! It is interesting to see how many Ferraris share a garage with a Porsche (most often a 911). Image Unavailable, Please Login
